Uh, hi there. Call me Ecto. I’ve beenstalking following the dreamwidth for about a week now and figured it was time to post. Kinda nervous as I saw a lot of smut around here and I tend to stay away from smut, but oh well. A little variety never hurts, right? First post. Please be gentle.
So here you have it, a somewhat experimental fic starring the enigmatic E prankster and his unfortunate victim(s). Part one of many. Without spoiling too much, I'll tell you that there will blood. Lots of blood. Oh yes.

Kurt/Etho Fan Fic (my first ever) Part 1
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 08:09 pmThe wind blew softly, ruffling the edges of my skirt. Quickly, I held it down with my mitten-clad hands. Shivering in the cold, I walked up towards the old cemetery.
It had been a year since my dad passed away. He was a mysterious man, always running away on secret business. He couldn’t even tell my mom where he was off to next. I didn’t see much of him.
The climb became more difficult, and when I finally reached the top, I breathing so heavily it fogged up my glasses. Pushing them back onto my nose and wiping the lenses, I looked up at the cloudy, evening sky, remembering what had happened that day.
It began normal, like it always was in our little town. I got up and headed off to Laiuna for my classes, meeting halfway through my hour long walk with my best friend, Kurt. He gave me his usual bear hug and it made me feel warm on that freezing morning. Chatting all the way, we trudged down the valley to Laiuna High school, dreading the lectures we have to endure. But as Kurt, or Mac as he prefers to go by, always said “At least we have each other.”
That morning was as normal as ever, until that shadow appeared high above us. Squinting, I could barely make out the figure of a boy and he quickly descended the tree he had been perched in. Dropping to the ground he stared at us for a moment, taking a sip from a small flask. He wore unusual clothing, a bandana tied around his face, a green army vest stuck to his shoulders. But his most disturbing feature was his different coloured eyes; one jet black, the other blood red. He gave us one last look over and then sprinted away.
“What was that about?” I inquired of Mac.
“I dunno, Ems, I think I’ve see his face before.” Mac mumbled through the lip of his trench coat.
“You’ve seen his face? You never told me you’ve seen a guy with different coloured eyes before!”
“Indeed. I don’t tell you everything.” He gave a mysterious look and laughed at my worried expression. “Don’t be so fussy, Em. I live my life and you live yours. And plus, that’s one of the only things I haven’t told you. Now hurry up. We’re going to be late!”

Kurt/Etho Fan Fic Part 2
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 08:11 pmTwiddling a pencil between my fingers, I listened without hearing my boring history teacher, Mr. C Gamer, or M.C.Gamer as he preferred, drone on and on about the history of our world, the religion of Notch and Dinnerbone rising from the dead. Sighing, I looked over at Mac. He was fast asleep, head in his books, his pen suspended from his fingers hanging over the desk.
Controlling my laughter at his position, I hid behind my textbook and smiled to myself. He’s so cute when he’s sleeping. Catching myself mid-thought, I blushed, looking around to see if anyone had noticed. Beef was staring at me with his usual what are you thinking? face. Shaking my head at him, I slowly lowered my textbook and returned to flipping my pencil around.
With a bang, the door flew open. Mac whipped his head up looking disoriented. The entire class, including Beef, directed their attention to the open door.
“Ah, Mr. Milbee! What a delightful surprise! And who have you brought with you?” Mr. Gamer boomed with unusual enthusiasm, making everyone flinch at the noise.
“This, Mr. Gamer, is your new student. We discussed this earlier, I do believe.” Mr. Milbee said, patting his rainbow tie into place.
“Oh yes we did. Well, welcome, welcome! I’m sure you’ll fit in very nicely in this class! Come inside, don’t be shy!”
A shadow of a tall, thin boy appeared on the door as he slowly inched his way inside. I gasped a little as he came into view and quickly ducked my head as he stared over at me. His hair was ragged and only tamed by the cloth tied around his head. His face almost completely obscured by a second cloth, he wore black almost head to toe. But his most striking feature were his piercing eyes that seemed to bore into you; one jet black, one blood red.
I took a peek at Mac and saw him already looking at me. He mouthed the words who is he?
“Class, meet your new friend, Etho.”

Kurt/Etho Fan Fic Part 3
Sunday, September 22nd, 2013 08:30 pm“Who was that guy?” I said as I ran up to Kurt in the hallway. It was the end of the day, that part where Kurt and I would finally be free to spend our time as we wanted.
“I dunno, Em. His name sound familiar.” He shrugged.
“So you think you know him?”
“Indeed.” He smiled at me, eyes flashing, “Maybe he was some demon or something. You know, sent to haunt the hallways of Laiuna.”
“Shut up, Mac!” I whispered, looking around to see if anyone had heard. I had only seen that strange boy, Etho, twice the entire day. He had disappeared at lunch, only to appear in my math class. He had sat right behind me and it had felt as if his eyes had drilled holes in my back. Rubbing my neck, I remembered the sensation and shivered. “Maybe he is a demon. He wouldn’t stop staring at me in math.”
“I noticed.” Mac said malice in his voice. I was a little shocked by his tone. “Hey,” he said, changing back to his usual self, “why don’t we head home now.”
“Sure.”
We walked over to the front gate of the school and turned to the left when we neared it. Mac and I hated being scanned by the security guard at the gate, so we always climbed over the fence. I had always noted to wear shorts under my skirt for school.
“Here, I’ll give you a boost.” Mac put his hand close to the ground and I place my right boot on it. He lifted me up over the iron bars and I jumped onto the other side. Climbing up after me, he paused at the top, staring out at the old oak tree.
“Mac-“ I began but he silenced me with a wave of his hand. Jumping down he grabbed my wrist and began to run, pulling me along with him. “Mac what ar-“
“Shut up! Shut up and be quiet if you want to live!” Puzzled and slightly hurt by his rough words, I silently ran along next to him.
We didn’t stop running for a good ten minutes, so I was about to be sick when he slowed down and said “Now I think we’re safe.”
“Safe… from what?” I managed to get out between gasps.
“Safe from that Etho guy. He had a bow pointed at my from that oak tree.” Astonished, I stared at Mac, waiting for him to explain, “I thought I had recognized him before. I knew I had! He’s been sneaking around, following me for half my life! I think I met him at the orphanage. He was badly burned around his face, mutilated actually. And now he’s out to kill me or something. Why would he try to kill me!”
Kurt shoved his head in his hands and began pounding them against a tree. I shoved myself in between the tree and him, stopping him from hurting himself.
“Kurt, go home and tell the police in Azaelea. I’ll tell them in Trougon.” I whispered, but he shook his head and looked up at me.
“Don’t follow me.” He whispered back, and then sprinted off towards the cemetery hill.
“Kurt!”
