Slightly related and a weird coincidence, has anyone seen the other - hopefully troll fic - called A Night On Mindcrack. I believe it's on Wattpad... I found it last night and was properly scarred for life...

I have to admit it made me laugh abit, he did say he wasn't having a go at fic people he was calling his own stuff rubbish. I imagine he was just having abit of fun...

It was abit annoying up untill I read his comment so I don't know.
I'm guessing we wanted to post a 'fan fic' to get the angry crowd pissed again.. Probably seeing if anyone's views changed after the podcast?

It's not the fact he did it that annoys me or the fact it seems like a mick take, it's just the form of it! At least try a little harder if you're gonna do a fic and show it to people, gosh... ;P

Yeah that's what I ment xD it did seem like he just wanted to cause a little stir on reddit.. Like I said probably checking to see how many people would still react without even reading it.
It was quite funny though heh.
I know, cm'on guy you need to rewrite about 20 times before you can release it :D

I do it if I am seriously nervous about it, but then the rest just get re-written and then published...
My re-writes happen mostly when I write in lessons at school and then type them up and I realise how bad my original writes are xP

Ah, I've never let anyone but myself and you guys read this, even my boyfriend has no idea what this really is xD he would be like.. What? But they are guys?

I mostly type mine on my ipad, I finally got a app that's kinda like word so I can put bold and italics in my stories, I wish I could type them on a laptop or even at collage but we use macs with HUGE screens. And I'm pretty sure people in my class would be freaked out by it xD oh wells!

I think it's someone trying to write a parody, possibly without knowing enough about actual fanfiction. Only saying that because parody fic is usually intentionally ridiculously over-the-top and purple (and still probably wouldn't be welcome in the subreddit where the people it's about can see it).

How... amusing? Yeah, I kinda find this amusing, just not in any way I think the author is intending. Like, I just got done explaining how fic writing comes from a place of love, but this? I'm not convinced it isn't troll fic. Openly throwaway account, openly admitting to considering it bullshit. It's the kind of thing that would give us a bad name, but I'm not even mad. There is only mild amusement.

I can't even be annoyed at that, though. I can't really fault someone for not trying hard enough when they never set out to try to begin with. That appears to be what's happening here.

Weirdly enough, I can't find it in me to be properly horrified by this. Maybe it's just so extreme in its kinkiness I can't even associate it with the names involved enough to feel uncomfortable on their behalf. I don't know. But note the userpic of the author. Yeah.

I can't help but feel its things by trolls them him (or her) that give this kind of good fic a bad name.. People are more likely to see bad stuff like that and pt us all under the same boat :(

It may be very disturbing to a non-tired brain... but reading it at like 3/4am makes it one of the funniest things in existance... or maybe that is just me ^3^

I would read it, but frankly, I'm scared to. I'm not totally against NSFW content, though I do admit I have trouble reading it, for some personal reasons as well as my age. I understand it can have a legitimate purpose in the story, and I've even written some of it (though it wasn't very good, having so little experience with this kind of stuff) but sometimes it just makes me uncomfortable. I'm not even really sure why I'm telling you all this, to be honest, but I just felt like sharing my opinion. So, I'll just take your word for it. I'm sure it is very amusing.

It depends on the stuff in nsfw stuff usually. Redit is a prime example, you don't really know if its gore, sex or what ever else. If its bloody porn that's just damn uncomfortable -.-"
Natural curiousity for me is the main reason xD sigh. People think I'm so damn. Innocent they have no idea the thinks that have scarred my bran over the years thanks to the good ol' internets

Don't worry about it. That's why we have labels for when things go to NSFW land. Not everyone wants to see that. Personally, I've been on the internet way too long for anything to have much of an impact on me, but I used to be quite easily squicked when it came to sex as well.

Yes, I agree. Some people just look at one bad example and then the whole rest of the community's reputation has been stained by that one bad egg. I really respect people who are smart enough to not judge a book by its cover, or even its first page.
