So I've been playing with SBK's Minecraft mod for a while, and always had the idea to share my adventure with the screen shots I took along the way. It's finally time to share my journey.
So it's a fresh start for me. It's a different kind of feeling, having nothing. But we're here with a purpose. Find the Mindcrackers. After that? We'll I'm sure that's when the real fun will begin. But for now we have to get started. Even though I don't start many new worlds, I've picked up a few quick starter tips from watching many seasons of Ultra Hardcore. Tree, pick, stone. I even slay some nearby sheep to make a bed later. It's time to start looking around, and I no sooner set out than find a pleasant sight.

HEY IT'S GUUDE.
Our very first friend! But wait! Once I've gotten to Guude, I'm able to see someone else on the other side of the hill.

It's a Kurt! This is terrific. Two friends to keep us company, but I have no wheat to properly lead them around, and pretty soon I'll have to start thinking about setting up shop for the first night. I chase the two around trying to contain them so they don't wander off. Kurt was pretty cooperative, but Guude did not want to sit still. I gave up for the moment, hoping he'd stay in the area anyway. Eventually, though, I managed to box him in as well so I could stop worrying.

There, see, I'll even give you a torch.
I take some time to get some more supplies together, and most importantly, grow some wheat. I let Kurt and Guude out of their dirt huts to move them into a nicer pen.

That's it, guys. You're going to love it here. I'm going to bring back so many new friends and we're all going to have the bestest slumber parties.
I decided I would find new people and bring them all back here and keep them all in one big chaotic pen. I would call it my mosh pit.
With my home base established and my first two people secure, I set off to explore more of the surrounding area. Not far from my starting point I found a desert, and in that desert...

A village! It's an nice spot to pick up some more wheat, but otherwise I don't place much significance on villages outside of being a good landmark. Plus, I've already established my mosh pit back where I found Guude and Kurt.
The day passes as I hang around the village for a bit. It starts to get dark, and I'm hoping to run back home before running into trouble. Instead I run into someone else.

A Nebris lurks along the tree line. Now I have a choice to make. What to do? I figure I'm still closer to the village than my home, so I lead him back there as quickly as I could.

With no bed here, I spend a thrilling night defending the village from monsters, including an elusive spider jockey, and almost dying to creepers in the process. But my armor saves me, and I live to see morning. I decided to leave Nebris for a while and keep exploring from the village, so I set off in a random direction into a forest. Pretty soon I see something.

It's Adlington! I escort him back to the village to keep Nebris company. Here you can see them eyeing each other suspiciously.

I think that's enough for now. There's tons more, but I didn't want to overload one post with too many pictures, and it's enough to give you a sense of what I'm going for with this.
