A very short and sweet follow up to the first chapter.

Sunlight streamed through the pink curtains, biting into the mapmaker's eyes. She sat up suddenly, pink a foreign color to wake up to. She groans, a hangover making that one little sliver of morning twist daggers in her head.

"Mmm, Vechs. It's too early, go back to sleep. Wait- VECHS!?" Aurey shot up, fully awakened from her half asleep state just mere seconds ago. She looks down, making sure her clothes were intact. Vechs raises an eyebrow but ignores it, preferring to muffle all the pain with a glittery pillow. She didn't even care about the sparkles.

"You did not-you couldn't-I'm not-clothes-did you-did we?" Aurey mumbled faster than her mouth could handle, all the syllables melding together. Vechs shook her head with a sigh.

"I had planned to. But we were both too drunk so I didn't want to do that to you. See I'm a nice girlfriend. Now let me sleep this off. You should too, knowing how many drinks you had, and how shi- horrible you look." Vechs mumbled into the pillow, glitter popping off into her mouth.

"Oh so you consider me able to agree to relationships while drunk but not consent? How nice. I guess goodnight though, you're right on that." Aurey slips back under the comforter, a content smile on her face as she wraps her arms around the other.

"I thought you said you just said you didn't-" Vechs was cut off by soft lips once more.

"Never said either way Vechsy." Aurey curled up more into her assumed girlfriend, drifting off to sleep. Vechs was now completely confused, all the gears turning behind green eyes and a mess of brown hair. It finally clicked into place through the haze and she smiled. Mission completely accomplished.
