So, I had this idea for a fic, that would basically just be a certain Mindcracker journaling their life every so often. And then this came to be a thing! Oh, and it's a Highschool AU.

February 4th 2015

I guess my psychiatrist is tired of long hours or something, because instead of feeling me to come back next week, he suggested journaling. And that's what I'm doing now.

So, I woke up today in a rather good mood. I had lots of sleep, which was a rare occasion. I woke up and had plenty of time to eat my daily breakfast of 2 pop tarts (strawberry), and a glass of milk (chocolate).

The bus ride was peaceful enough, surprisingly quiet. Not that I had any problems with that, I've been praying for a quiet bus ride for a while now. It's always a nice feeling watching the sunrise as well, almost calming.

Of course knowing my luck, the serenity wouldn't last very long.

I was of course correct, as during my first class of the day, my teacher lectured for being on topic. Yeah, you read that right, being ON topic.

First class of the day is Chemistry, I was simply writing out the problem that was on the board, when all of a sudden my teacher comes over. She starts yelling at me, saying that I wasn't supposed to be doing that problem till later.

She of course yelled very loudly, and made a big deal out of nothing (like most people teachers do), earning me the ridicule of my peers. Of course this wasn't anything I was already used to.

My next few classes went by like usual, I was the only one who knew anything in World History, I hid behind the bleachers so the Drivers Ed teacher wouldn't make me drive, and I had bit back my tongue as to not explode from the stupidity that was my Chinese class.

Then came the safe haven that was lunch. I showed up to the usual spot my friends and I always spend lunch, which was behind the theatre.

Anderz, Chad, and Vechs had already arrived; Mhykol had arrived just a few seconds after me.

We spent the lunch the same way we always do, which was discussing a cluster of different topics. We started with the upcoming rocket launch, followed by mocking Anderz attempts of hitting on a girl, and ending with how paper clips are no doubt the most useful thing in this world.

Though that conversation was cut short due to the bell ringing, thus marking the end of happiness and the beginning of 5th period.

Though it wasn't all bad, 5th period is my Tech Theatre class, which is by far the most entertaining class the school has to offer. Granted, they're electives were lacking, no astrology, space science, not even statistics.

The school doesn't even have any clubs that interest me, besides track. But I don't participate in that, as most of the runners are meatheads that I'd rather not spend 4 days of my week with.

Tech theatre was fun enough, I mainly just reorganized the prop loft for the umpteenth time. Most of the actual work is already done.

Geometry and English passed by far too slowly for my liking, I already knew everything we were discussing in both of those classes, and since I tend to stick to my own thing in those classes, there wasn't anyone to talk to.

At last the final bell had rung, I thought that I would be able to go home, make myself a sandwich, and take Wolfie (my dog) on a walk.

Then I was reminded via text message that there were rehearsals for the senior show today.

The senior show was show completely produced and acted by seniors, of course I am only sophomore. In addition, I hate acting.

However, Vechs and myself (along with a few others), were picked by the seniors to run the tech for the show.

I (regretfully) accepted the position. Not that I had much of a choice, considering I'm the only person who understands the new sound board the theatre had bought recently.

Today when I showed up for rehearsals, I simply sat around for 4 hours. Because according to the senior director "We'll use you in, like, I dunno, 5 minutes"

Well, 5 minutes turned into 10, then 30, then 4 hours. On the bright side Vechs was simply painting a desk for all 4 of those hours, trying to avoid actual work, so he and I chatted a bit.

The time passed about as fast as a turtle would cross a parking lot in the Sahara dessert. Eventually my Uncle Paul drove up and crushed that turtle with his jeep.

My Uncle Paul, being the extremely kind guy he is, offered to pick up some Panera on the way home.

Normally I'd feel bad about allowing someone to buy something for me, but I never could resist a cinnamon roll and some hot chocolate.

Naturally the hot chocolate burned my tongue, as all hot drinks do. However I didn't let this stop me from enjoying it thoroughly.

Once I got home and finished my snack, my mood improved greatly. I finished up my all my homework rather quickly (it was just doodling a map of Africa and some simple math problems).

So yeah, that was basically my day. I did eat some tacos for dinner, and I looked up some more info on the upcoming rocket launch. But that's about it.

There you go, day 1 of my journaling finished. I guess I’ll be writing more these in the future, as to please my psychiatrist. Um, I’m not sure how to finish these off… Bye?

Let me know what you think of this, every opinion matters! :)

Kurt's Theatre Tech: Entertaining
My Theatre Tech: We literally just kinda sit there for the entire class while the teachers talk about the play.

Neat, you gonna write more of it? It'd be cool to see you pull in Kurt's dislike of English and enjoyment of art/design (I assume, due to his uni degree). One thing though, you said astrology as a course, did you mean astronomy?
