A Fae Kiss
Thursday, November 6th, 2014 08:00 pmI probably will update this once a week, also, there is a bit of drinking involved.
(sorry for the horrid wording in all of this. I don't have a beta reader.)
It was just one kiss. One kiss. Ok, so I got a little tipsy, and kissed one boy… Not anything else. I went to the bar last night, to have a little fun, after a fight with my boyfriend. I went alone. I stepped into the room, and bright lights flashed around the room.
“What would you like?” A nice woman behind the bar asked.
“One Fae Gold, please.” She handed me a tall golden glass of Fae Gold. Fae Gold was a minty, drink of… something. I laughed quietly. I drank all of it at once. The bartender started.
“That’s pretty strong stuff. Isn’t there a story where only the Fae could drink that?”
“I can withstand a lot.” I put the glass back down, completely ignoring the last question. Even though that story was true, she shouldn’t know about that. The bartender opened her mouth, but I walked away. I looked behind me, bumped into a tall man.
“Sorry, sor-” I looked up at him. He was stunning. Not like one of those models. He was…. was…..
“Hello.” He looked down at me.
“Hi. Hello.” Wow, who was he? What was he?
“Want a drink?” He said, sitting down at the bar.
“Sure. Wait, no. Maybe?” I pushed hair out of my face. The bartender nodded.
“Same drink?” she said to me.
“Sure.”
“I’ll have the same.” The man said. The bartender made two Fae Gold. He looked at them. “Fae Gold…” He stared at me. I drank it in one gulp; so did the man. So he was a Fae. We stood up and walked to a corner table, in a dark area. He smiled at me. I smiled. He leaned in towards me. We kissed. Little did I know that one of my friends had seen it all. And she was going to tell everyone about it.
I started to walk toward the pond in the park across the bar. The pond was clear and had light pink flowers on top. The willow trees had flowers the color of the sunset. It looked magical. Oh, how funny that was. I walked straight into the water, my skirt flowing behind me.
“Hey?” I looked behind me. The man from the bar was standing there. “I never got your name.” He grinned.
“Aureylain, Queen of Fae.” His startled face stared at me for a second, then I disappeared from view.
