Ladies Night!
Thanks for Elfy and Silver for the reminder and the idea!

"In the long and illustrious history of the is amazing organism we call Mindcrack, most people would primarily name men as the engine of the beast," I began, very conscious of my words. "But I pose to you that it was the ladies, both in the group, behind the scenes and in the fandom that catapulted the idea into the stratosphere."

"Let me tell you the story of some of these women. One you might know, one you may not know yet, and many you'll never know." I smiled, happy to tell stories. It's my favorite part of the job. Getting paid to tell people's stories? I have to pinch myself every morning. "One of the women goes by the name of Auryelian. She joined Mindcrack early May 2014, but was invited two years before. She has said on multiple occasions that she was absolutely terrified at the idea of joining this sacred group." I stopped for emphasis, eager to get to the fun part. "But she grew, and they grew, and deemed it time to join. The community rejoiced and opened their arms wide. Of course there are always saddened by change and upset that she joined and not their personal favorite, but thanks to her quiet, happy style, most have been won over."

The crowd applauded obnoxiously, so I waited for it to die down. "The next group are very easily overlooked. They rarely play games, and don't get talked about very often. The wives, girlfriends, and fiances of the group. The women who, when hearing their men making their content, smile quietly and continue with their day, whether it includes wrangling children, going about their own jobs or even joining in the fun. While they lay in bed at night with or without their man, quietly absorbing the YouTube complaints, happy that their men are doing something that makes them happy."

That part really seemed to hit them hard. Time to bring it home. "The last are all of us. Recently, many of the Mindcrackers have noticed a hike in female viewers. Ascribe it to what you want, whether because they're handsome, smart in the way they speak or just plain pleasant to listen to, we are the biggest and most important part of Mindcrack. Just because we don't happen to be on the whitelist or can call them up anytime we want doesn't mean they don't listen." Taking a deep breath for stability, I went on, "Take one girl for instance. She found Mindcrack once through her brother, but never really got it. Why would it be special anyway? It's just a bunch of guys playing Minecraft. Even the Yogs did that. But a couple of months later, she stumbled back over it. She saw it in a completely new light. See, in those couple of months, her life went from okay to hell. When she first found it, there was no need for constant laughs. Her daily dose of Mindcrack became her incentive to keep going. Life is still hard sometimes, but as long as the internet is still free and she can still find some scrap of wi-fi, she knows that she can make it."

"This is the legacy of the whole group. The laughs, the camaraderie, the knowledge that they'll be back tomorrow, sustains the group and the thought of the mission."

I stepped back from the podium, took my bow and exited stage left. More stories told. My job, at least for the night, was done.

No worries. <3

You may wanna go back and check the auto-formatting option box, though, since I think your paragraphs got borked. D: Silly DW.
