Memories :: Chapter 2 (SMS)
Sunday, September 21st, 2014 02:48 pmHey, look, I can post things regularly now! Woo!
So basically, I am now like really in the mood to keep writing so expect more of this! Although in an hour people are coming over to my house so I can't write then, but you know what, I'll post as soon as I can.
Also, I don't have a beta for this story, but I think I'll keep writing this series myself. Maybe once I get more organised and stuff I will get a beta. :)

Vechs sat in his room at his desk, coming up with ideas on how to mess with his pigderp. He wouldn't remember a thing, and Vechs giggled. He wouldn’t remember Kurt, or how they’d been acting all lovey-dovey. Of course, Kurt had never gotten the courage to tell Zisteau about any feelings, and Zisteau didn't want to say anything either, but it was pretty obvious that they both had feelings for one another.
That’s where Vechs came in. Ever since Vechs joined Mindcrack, he’d always had feelings or something for Zisteau, and Vechs always got what he wanted. Which is why he had kidnapped Zisteau and was now going to persuade him that his relationship with Kurt was wrong; that Zed’s real lover was Vechs himself.
Sure, this thinking may be caused by jealousy, but Vechs knew that this was right. Team Single Malt Scotch, as Kurt and Zisteau called their team, was to stay as strictly a UHC name, and that’s it.
He realised that it was now time to go and wake Zisteau up for the first time since he’d been knocked unconscious. Vechs stood up and walked towards the door to the maze, to be greeted by something landing on his left shoulder. He looked to his left to see Fwappy, his pet bat.
“Hey, Fwappy!” he laughed, surprised by the small mammal’s sudden appearance. He held out his right pointer finger and Fwappy hopped over to land on it. He used his other hand to hold Fwappy, and Fwappy responded by a small squeak, making Vechs giggle with happiness. He gave the bat a small hug and let him go, and Fwappy flew off to derp around. Vechs smiled at the thought of his bat derping around the halls, making those adorable squeaky noises. He pulled Fwappy out of the hug, causing Fwappy to jump off his finger and fly to wherever he wanted to derp around in the maze.
Vechs pulled a small piece of paper out of his pocket, and unfolded it. On it was a map of the maze of hallways, and clearly pointed out on it was Zisteau’s room and where he was currently located, along with the entrance to the labyrinth. He headed out the door and followed the hallways towards his pigderp’s room.
As he walked down each pathway, he saw tons of monsters, yet not one moved towards him. They were all modified to obey his commands, and as of right now they were commanded to be on guard for any players that may have wandered the halls. As he took the final few turns, he laid eyes on the hallway Zisteau was at, and his eyes grew wide. He saw a broken iron door, and a pickaxe left on the stone floor.
“Damnit!” he yelled, and sprinted towards the room. He looked inside to see an empty room. A wave of worry washed over his face. The door was broken into large iron chunks all over the floor, so he couldn’t tell whether it was broken from the inside or outside. He quickly erased that thought- Zisteau didn’t have a pickaxe, so he couldn’t of broken the door. Someone had come to break him out, and Vechs had a pretty good idea of who it could possibly could have been.
=-=-=-=-=-=-FANCYLINEBREAK-=-=-=-=-=-=
Kurt kept walking through the halls, but this time with an added weight on his shoulders. Zisteau was propped up pretty well, although a muscular zombie pigman isn’t really the easiest of things to carry on your back.
Finding the way out of the labyrinth wasn’t a whole lot easier than finding Zisteau, either. He ran through the hallways as fast as he possibly could, dodging monsters so explosions or skeleton arrows wouldn’t hit either of them. His legs ached soo badly, but he couldn’t stop running, not this time.
He ran across another hallway, and he was surprised to hear the sounds of bubbling lava. He ran towards the sound and found himself looking through a large doorway, heading into the original hallway leading to the entrance open to the ravine. His eyes grew wide with happiness and he smiled, and if he wasn’t out of breath and about to collapse, he would’ve yelled with joy at the top of his lungs.
But then, a serious question appeared in his mind- ‘How the hell are you going to get out of here? It was a genuinely good question, and as he thought about it he looked up towards the top of the ravine. He couldn’t dig his way out, because for one he had Zisteau on his back, and even if he didn’t he left his pickaxe in the hallway, and there was no way in hell he was going back to get it.
Suddenly, an idea crossed his mind- he could climb his way back up. Although, he was carrying dead weight on his shoulders, so attempting to climb would be extremely difficult. He quickly dismissed the idea.
Deep in thought, he jumped when he heard the cries of an enderman, almost dropping Zisteau. He looked around and saw that he was hiding on a ledge not that far away from him. Kurt decided to stay away from him when it hit him- enderman sometimes drop enderpearls. Of course!
Kurt carefully set Zisteau down for a moment against the wall. He realized that what he was about to do was highly dangerous, and since he could possibly die doing it he didn’t want to just leave Zisteau. He sat down against the wall next to Zed for a moment. If only he was conscious, they could both climb out.
But it wasn’t that easy, and Kurt knew that this was now or never. But before he stood up to kill the enderman, and Zisteau was unconscious and would never knew he did this, Kurt gave the pigman a small kiss on the cheek. Yes, it was cheesy and he knew, but somehow it felt like it needed to be done. He sat there for a second, looking at Zisteau, thinking to himself ‘please, if there was any time to regain consciousness, let it be now.’ When the pigman didn’t move, he sighed and got up to head to the edge of the hall overlooking the lava.
As he stood at the edge, he looked to his right, and the enderman was still there. He then looked down, and about 10 blocks below him was the lava, oh so much lava. He took a deep breath and carefully stepped onto the ledge. At first it was wide enough for him to walk normally on it but as it got closer towards the enderman it got thinner and thinner. Soon enough he found himself only a couple blocks away from the enderman.
He looked around and found that there was a few small rocks near his feet. He carefully bent down and grabbed one, and aimed for the enderman’s chest. If you are going to do one thing for me, you will drop an enderpearl. He threw it with all that he could, and hit him directly where the enderman’s heart was (or at least, he assumed that’s where it was, if it was like a human’s chest.) The enderman died quickly, and Kurt saw a small greenish-blue pearl land on the very edge of the cliff.
“Oh, hell”. He took a small step towards the pearl, and it moved slightly, but enough to roll right off the ledge.
Shit, now or never!
Kurt lunged towards the falling pearl, and luckily caught it with one hand and with the other hand he held on to the ledge like there was no tomorrow. His feet slipped, and he was holding on to dear life with only one hand.
‘Don’t you dare fucking look down,’ Kurt thought as he gripped the rocks. Luckily they weren’t loose; if they were he could just kiss the thought of living through this goodbye. He held on to the pearl and attempted to lift himself up with just one hand, but there was no use.
Instinct told him to just throw the enderpearl to save himself, but then he wouldn’t be able to get out of the ravine without leaving Zisteau.
Then he remembered- he had pockets. He shoved the enderpearl into his coat pocket, and then stretched to hold on to the ledge with both hands. Then was he able to lift himself up, using every last ounce of energy he had, which wasn’t much. He crawled back towards the entrance, relieved to see Zisteau there, still out of it but there.
He laid down next to Zed again, regaining the strength that he needed to carry Zisteau back, and took a few deep breaths. He got back up, hoisted Zed back onto his shoulders, and walked back towards the entrance. He looked around, and he saw the mineshaft bridge that he had originally spotted this damn labyrinth. For them both to be teleported, they both technically needed to be holding the enderpearl.
Kurt took Zed’s hand in his- making him a bit happier about the situation- and aimed the enderpearl towards the bridge. ‘Kurt, do not miss. Do not miss do not miss do not miss.’ He repeated to himself. He threw it, knowing that if he’d missed he would land in the lava and burn, and so would Zed.
Suddenly he felt something different below him, and opened his eyes to see he was at the beginning of the wooden bridge. “Oh, thank God.” he said aloud.
He crossed the last remaining blocks of the bridge and retraced his steps through the cave. ‘At least the paths through here are more recognizable,’ he thought.
Finally, he was able to look upwards to be greeted by sunlight, it’s friendly glow warming his body after being in the cold, damp hallways for what seemed like days. He made his way out and found that he was now standing on green grass. He had never been so happy to see the lovely green color after seeing so many gray bricks and gray stone and orange lava. He, for once, knew exactly where he was and started the long journey home.
A few hours later, he was back home. He came in from the less populated way, where no one would ask questions as to why Zisteau was having a piggy-back ride. He laid Zisteau down on his bed, and only then did he realize how severely exhausted he was. He laid down on the other side of his bed, and got comfy. He knew it would be awkward, being in the same bed a Zisteau, but as of right now he couldn’t care less.
So when he closed his eyes, he fell asleep instantly.

Yes! All the SMS! I had fun writing this one. If you have any cool ideas that maybe I could fit in without totally changing the story line, then it would be really cool if you told me. :D
Also tell me of any grammar mistakes or any mistakes in general, or ways that I can improve! It is very much appreciated! <3
