Sorry this took so long Goose! I ran into some technical difficulties that necessitated that I rewrite this in it's entirety.
I'll probably continue this at a later day. I like this idea.
When Chad logged onto the server for the first time, he was nervous. How could he not be? For all that the Mindcrackers were a great bunch of people, they had still invited him to their exclusive server-and not as a guest this time but as a full member in his own right.
Chad finished the login, shivering as electricity danced over his skin as the server accepted him. He hadn’t expected much- certainly not a party or even the majority of the server to turn out and greet him- but he’d at least expected Guude. What he got instead was chilling silence. There was no one around and spawn appeared deserted.
What was going on here?
Chad shuffled his feet before going over to the community chest. He grabbed a few pieces of nearly-broken chain armor and a half-done-in iron sword. It wouldn’t do to go searching for the others without at least a little something to protect himself. Most of the builds he saw weren’t quite finished yet, but spawn was definitely looking pretty already.
An hour of searching later found him standing in front of an odd building on the far eastern side of town. It was fairly large and the faint smell of netherwart and melon came from within. A potions lab? He carefully placed his foot on the pressure pad and walked in, sword at the ready. Inside now he could smell burnt something-or-other and what smelt like singed clothes.
The inside was also a complete wreck. Brewing stands were knocked over and chests were flung open. And in the center of the destruction were seven small lumps, hidden under armor and clothes. With increasing trepidation he crept forward and removed the diamond armor away from one of the lumps, falling back on his rear with a shocked and agonized groan when he saw what was underneath.
It was a mini-replica of Guude- from wild blonde hair to little bare feet and big green eyes that were staring at him with uncharacteristic- or was it characteristic for even young Guude?- nervousness.
“Who are you, mister?” Mini-Guude asked and Chad glanced up at the ceiling, momentarily unable to answer through his horror.

Fifteen minutes later and Chad found himself squatting in front of mini version of not only Guude, but Pyro, Nebris, Coestar, Avidya, Pause and Beef. Each miniature mindcracker was looking at him with a mix of suspicion and, if he didn’t know any better, he would think that they were laughing at him. Nonsense. He shook his head as the tiny version of Beef tugged on his sleeve.
“Are you our babysitter then mister?” Chad wrinkled his nose very briefly at the thought of watching out for seven baby mindcrackers, but what choice did he have? If he said he wasn’t their babysitter they might not trust him and they would wander off and then they could get hurt.
“Yea. Yea I’m your babysitter.” He said and tiny Beef grinned at him, revealing two missing teeth. Chad never knew what he got himself into until it was too late.

Aurey logged onto the server, intent on finishing her project from earlier in the week. She wasn’t expecting to log into spawn and see absolute chaos. Books everywhere, scraps of food and empty water bottles here and there and the sound of children shouting war cries.
Wait a second. Children?
Hurrying herself towards the sound she came upon a scene that sent her doubled over in laughter. Chad, who was supposed to have logged onto the server for the first time today, was tied haphazardly-but tightly enough- to a tree with a number of leads. A miniature look-a-like of Pause was holding a toy bow and pointing it at Chad, howling some warcry or another.
A tiny Beef was yanking on Pause’s arm and trying to get him to stop screaming and let Chad go. Little Guude was in the tree Chad was tied to, kicking tiny legs and giggling maniacally, a higher pitched version of his grown self’s laugh. Further off the smaller versions of Coestar and Avidya were laying on the grass and naming clouds while toddlers Pyro and Nebris were calmly doing a puzzle.
Aurey looked to Chad after gaining her wits back only to see the young man looking at her with wide pleading eyes.
“Help me Aurey! Please!”
Aurey’s response was to bend double in laughter again.
