One year after Aureylian joined Mindcrack she had tons of great friends and a best friend, she also had a lot of hate.

Vechs was super excited about the next day, it had been a year since Aureylian had joined the server, it had also been a year since he met his best friend. He was planning to give her a present on a livestream tomorrow, so he went to his computer to log onto twitter and tweeted : "10:00 tomorrow morning starts an all day livestream with Rel-Rel". The comments blew up almost immediately and even at just a glance they weren't good. This had been happening a lot lately to Aureylian, but they had talked about it and she seemed fine. She was a strong woman and he admired her for it. He didn't want to read the comments,he would only get angry and just decided to go to bed.

Vechs P.O.V

As soon as Vechs cleared his eyes his anger about the noise that had woken him up had disappeared. It was replaced by sheer terror. The noise of a death notification in the chat rang again and again and each time the name was the same. Aureylian.

It took him a moment to register that Aurey had already died nineteen times that day before he was running towards the exit of his base that would send him in the direction of Aurey's base.

What is going on? Did she accidentally place a lead above her bed? Was someone hanging her? No, none of the mindcrackers would hang her! Right? I swear I'll kill whoever is doing this. I hope she in her base! Aurey please, please be in your base!!

Vechs thoughts were frantic as he ran towards Aurey's supposed location. His emotions ranged from confused, to terrified, to angry and back again in time it took to run three blocks.

---Aureylian has been hung by lead--- Why am I such an idiot? I'm not fast enough! If I would have put on armor and taken a swiftness potion I would have been there by now. She wouldn't have died this many times! What if she really dies? What if I don't save her? Who could be doing this? Is it a server glitch?!

Vechs thoughts became worse and worse as he neared the castle. He could see the stone work he and Aurey had spent so many hours on, but he still couldn't see any name tags.

What if she is hanging herself? Why would she do that? Is this some cruel joke? Did someone hack the system or find the hidden command blocks?! What if she isn't here? What if she is gone before I find her?

Finally Vechs arrived at the rainbow glass bridge leading to Aurey's base, he practically broke down her doors trying to enter the no longer cheery looking castle. He continued running once he was through the doors, he heard heart stopping strangled screams mixed with a choked sobbing. Aureylian was here. Suddenly the noise decreased before stopping all together. Replaced with the ding of a death message in the chat.

Vechs sped up as the sound of crying filled the halls again. He raced toward the name tag as he heard the first choked scream after Aurey respawned. He finally found the door and ran inside. He barely recognized Aurey. Her beautiful red hair was in tangles, she was thin, her eyes bloodshot, and her neck a bright raw red. He could see the fear and pain in her eyes as she hung from the rope. He sprang forward onto the bed grabbing and breaking the tripwire hook holding the lead. Aureylian fell to the ground.

Her head leaned against the wall, it was obvious she didn't have the strength to sit up. Vechs got onto the floor and crawled over to her whispering assuring and calming words as they both caught their breath. Her head slumped into his lap and he stroked her hair and let her cry. He stayed there until she awoke.
