mindcrackloveAurey and Sev were staring at each other during the Pax panel. So I wrote a fic about it!
Aureylian twisted her hands nervously. For some reason, panels and meet-ups always made her nervous. Shh hated conventions. Which was odd, considering the fact that she LP'd and was a streamer. The level of anonymity her fans usually had put her at ease. But meeting them in real life? Terrifying. However, she'd never get to see any of her friends otherwise.
On the plane to Seattle, she opened her phone's Skype, and began typing into the group's chat.
Aureylian: I'm so nervous.
GuudeBoulderfist: That's my job!
Nebris: You're beating a dead horse.
Zisteau: Mindcrack, "Abusing Animals Since 2011!", would be a good subtitle for the panel.
SethBling: ...
Well, that hadn't been helpful. At all. A message popped up on a private chat.
Sevadus: Are you okay?
Aureylian: I'm just... Scared, I guess.
Sevadus: I'm always nervous before going to a convention too.
Sevadus: Just... Don't focus on anything or anyone other than one person. Pick one person. Have a conversation with one person.
Aureylian: I'll try that. Thanks Sev!
Aurey blinked. That was actually far better advice than multiple self-help websites gave her.
"And welcome to the Pax Prime Mindcrack 2014 Panel, everyone!", Wes said into his mike.
Aurey took a deep breath, turned towards Sevadus, and knew who her one person was.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this. Let me know of any mistakes.
