 Hello. I need some help coming up with some ideas for some special abilities or a type of magical powers for this story I'm writing about Etho and Nebris. If anyone has any ideas of some please feel free to tell me :D

Yeah. Meaning like them being able to summon spells and or they can harness the power of different elements like for example Etho can harness the power of Redstone or some thing like that.

Special abilities, hm? I think I have some ideas
Etho can have Shadow Dash (just an example name) which can be him turning into a dark cloud or into a shadow and then reappear next to or under an enemy and stab them.
Nebris can have Justice Strike, where he powers up his sword and when he swings it, it releases a blade of energy that doesn't take into account ow much armor someone is wearing.

And for magical powers, I'd recommend giving Etho wind magic that hit quickly, but not very powerfully, and can provide a speed boost.
And for Nebris, give him (generic I know) Ender magic (or dark magic. Similar concept) that allows him to teleport with little damage and gives him more power when he becomes more injured or angry.

You could make someone a telepath,(mind reader.) and/or an empath,(emotion reader.) And/or, like Clash said, combat abilities.

Etho could have the power to teleport, cause ninja and stuff.

Nebris could harness ender energy cause dragon egg/purple eyes.
