Homecoming

So I promised Demonsense no evilness so I came up with this on the fly. But don't worry, evil is coming. *Laughs maniacally* Now please enjoy your nightly story. My activity may also change for the next 14 days. The story will be inspired by what's happening for those 2 weeks.



They sat at the table, enjoying their meal. A simple salad with a box of pizza they ordered.

"You've outdone yourself Rel Rel. The salad is great." Vechs smiled and reached for her hand.

"Oh shush you lil bunny. You just like the lettuce." She giggled and let his hand grasp her own.

"You know me too well Relly Bits." He couldn't help but smile as it left his lips. Not much could make the night better. There was a sudden knock at the door. It sounded urgent.

"Now who could that be? It's nine at night." Aurey pulled her hand away as she made her way to the door. The knocking became louder, more persistent. "I'm coming, I'm coming." She sounded a bit aggravated. She opened the door to see a young man, his dirty blonde hair cut short, a smile spread across his face. He was dressed in camo to match the desert. In his hand was a duffel bag, stuffed, looking as if it was ready to burst.

Her hands flew up to cover her mouth. "Ve-Vechs! Come here!" Her words were mere whispers, despite her attempt to shout.

"What's the matter Aur-" his words died as he rounded the corner. "Bl-Blame?" He barely got out.

"Mom. Dad. I'm home." He dropped his bag and spread his arms, signalling a hug.

The Salad is great huh... I Guess the salad members are more than great to write this story, because this short is better than Aureylian's home made salad.
Also, I should check out the tags section more often... I never knew there were a Family Genre tag.

To me, the family genre is a bit of a blured line. But I don't care at the moment. Excitement! Also, thank you very much!
