Yet Another Quest Awaits.
Friday, July 25th, 2014 12:23 amNew to community, decided to do a oneshot, also, I'm a big fan of Coestar. This is regarding him joining MindCrack season 5, also mentioning about his old minecraft series "Coe's Quest" and his original friend AvidyaZEN.
He was a proud man of himself, with his friend and his contraptions, He lives where he can inspire people, and he lived to. People recognizes him as Coestar, the perpretator of this realm, and he was always there to help people, and he does what it takes to make people happy. Until now, where Coe is alone, and he lost his inspiration. At a sudden flick of a finger.
Coe stares to the sun as its setting, feeling the cold breeze of wind flowing through his face. he took a deep breath, and closed his eyes.
He dreamt of these people, who were here, and he dreamt of a barren land, bordered with pure energy, preventing them to run.
The last thing he remembered... Avidya.
He was a true friend of Coe at hard times, supporting him when he's hurt and congratulates him when he accomplishes a quest. He was always there, until these dreams of people starts to pop in his mind. "What's wrong with this dreams...?" Coe thought to himself. For so long, he is alone in his world, making contraptions and buildings that no one admires except for himself. He has no friend there. Friends. Coe had thought of visiting this "Dream World" he always thought and dreamt about for his entire life, and it was a never ending urge to not let go of it.
And Coe decides to embark on a quest, to find this world, to find Avidya, and ofcourse, Friends. He left a Post-Mortem and left it in a Knowledge Tome, sharing it to all the minecrafters across the Minecraftia, his goodbye is remembered, many people is sad that he was gone, and many took it to their hearts, creating a grave, dedicated for his journeys that people learnt from. Punching Wood, Mining Stone, and all that, from a single Minecrafter, that inspires many people, to become one themselves.
Days past, Months got through, and at the final step, he reached the point of his dream, but that does not mean it is over, yet.
What he saw, is a Bordered Area, with a few people moving about to work in it. There is somebody who is building, mining, and everything that has to be done, they worked with ease and haste. After found what he sought to find, he need to know how he can get in there but with a good approval of them all.
He wanted to talk but he just can’t, after a long time of not talking, his throat does not want to cooperate even after he drank half of his water bottle. He shrugged it off and kept moving.
A few minutes of circling around the border later, he grew reckless and decided it’s time to try a single trick that people of Minecraftia feared; Phasewalking. Yes, he will walk through the worldborder to reach his objective, no matter what the cost. Readying his hand, he touches the border, feeling a sting to his finger. He ignored it and kept moving on, walking through the border like it’s nothing. Even though he was hurt on the inside, he believed that Avidya is here with them too, so he kept going, and going, he felt numbness... Then burning ache... Then nothing. He tried keeping up with the pain that bears with him for so long, only to be overpowered by it, giving no choice to him but only to let it win. He only heard faint sounds of many people talking and a sound of a familiar man.
“What... Who is... okay let’s...”
“It’s him, .... don’t!”
“He’s bypassing our...”
Silence endures around him for the rest of his devoid.
--The Next Day—
Warm rays of sunlight shone through the windows of the hut, directly at Coe’s face. He is heavily injured because of the Phasewalk he just did about a few days ago. He tried opened his eyes slightly, feeling his pounding headache and his wounds reacting to his movements. He flinched a little, and moved so he can breathe easily at the bed he slept on. He shrugged and looked around his surroundings, seeing the unusual change of environments. He was in a wooden hut, near a dojo, and all around the area is full of nature and temples. He was rather amazed by this look, and wished that his Friend, Avidya, would of seen this together with him.
“Hey, Dude.” Someone spoke to him from outside the hut. He cannot respond due to him being damaged at the throat because he haven’t spoke for so long. So he turned around instead, and to his trickling eyes, its Avidya, his long lost friend. Coe was not surprised, but he was rather shocked that Avidya was here too. “Coe... what are you doing, Dude? I was going to visit you just a few weeks later, you shouldn’t have done this, but well, you’re here so, what has been done, has been done, there’s no going back.” Avidya stepped to Coe, carrying a glass bottle with thick blue colored water glint filling it.
“Here, drink this, i hope this will make you feel better and make you speak again.” Avidya handed the potion to Coe, who tried taking the potion, but his exposed flesh couldn’t handle the sudden movement of his muscles, so he pulled back his hand. “Oh, yeah, your skin, this will heal it too.” Avidya added. He then held the potion and putting it near Coe’s mouth, then tilts it so he can drink the water inside the bottle. Slowly, his skin went back to his body, and his throat gets a sharp pain, but he can feel it getting better and lighter. “H... Hi, Avidya...” Coe spoke. It hurts so much at his first words but he tried. The feeling of his skin getting back to his body is so nice, and even better when he noticed he can speak again. “Hey dude, here.” Avidya handed his clothes to him, in which he put it on, and quickly stood up.
“Oh, god, what happened here? Also, why and how are you here?” Coe asked. His raspy voice and curiosity shot over Avidya’s head. He was never been like this, wasn’t he? It felt like it was not Coe, but instead someone else. “You phasewalked and got aflame, atleast one of us is lucky to bring a water bucket, but when he put you off, you were already unconscious, and your skin was on bad shape, so we tore it and i decided to make a potion that restores yourself back to the way you were.” Avidya explained, much to Coe’s happiness that he already found Avidya. But what he still lacks is Friends, there is in no way that Avidya can support him by himself.
“Hey, better meet the others, they want some explanation as to why you are here in the first place and why you want to be here... i guess i could help with this if Guude let me to.” Avidya sighed with relief, staring at the ground, ignoring Coe who is going out from the hut. Even though he already seen the sun’s light, it was very blinding for him to see out on the gardens of Avidya’s dojo. He sniffled his breath and sat down at the oak stairs, clenching his fists and holding his head. “God... too much effort just to get into a bordered land... what am i getting myself into?” Coe asked himself. He had hated that he done all this just to hear that news that Avidya will be visiting him in a few weeks.
Tears came streaming down to his chin, pity to himself, surrounding the feeling of guilt that throbs even though he tried to not remember it. If he had only be a patient man, who waits better than this, he would have not go through all the pain he took during his journey, he wouldn’t have ceased from talking because of his stubbornness, and he wouldn’t have got into this much trouble, But Avidya gladly helped him like old times... He is his expected best friend, Avidya is.
“Hey’s it’s okay, i know your effort.” Avidya tried to calm him down, yet received a harsh reply from Coe himself. “No... this all wouldn’t have happened if i am not this stubborn! God i’m too... Urgh! This does not make ANY sense!” Coe raged over his fault, which made him even more sad. Avidya silently facepalmed, and said some words of wisdom; “If you do it for others, It is not your own fault.” Avidya said sternly, causing Coe to drop silent. “You don’t know how much bad decisions i made upon your departure.” Coe angrily grunted to Avidya, who calmly sat at the stairs. “Let’s just meet Guude now.” He told Coe. Coe nods, stood up, and followed Avidya to the center.
--World Center—
“Guude, this is Coe, Coe, Guude.” Avidya told Coe about Guude. “Guude Boulderfist, also known as Jason. I’m the one that made this community, and upon your arrival, we have decided that you will join the MindCrack Server” Guude said. Coe looked to Guude’s face with untrust, but due to Avidya, he took Guude’s hand in a shake, then pulled back.
“So, Coe...”
Dead silence follows for a few seconds before Guude proudly said;
“Welcome to MindCrack.”
