Sunday, December 23rd, 2012 10:10 pmMini update, just because I'm at a loss after this...

Just after I left you guys last time, I explored around a little and made my way through the mountain area, meeting up with Bianca in the process. We tag-teamed our way through the mountain and made it to the other side, to Undella Town. There was the sea there so I was able to catch a pokemon in the water.
Frillish, lvl 36, male. Water/Ghost, lax nature often dozes off. Unnamed as of yet.
Moving on to route 14 below the town we make another catch.
Altaria, lvl 36, male. Dragon/Flying, serious nature, proud of its power.. Unnamed currently.
It was then we moved on to route 13 above Undella town for the next catch. I was not expecting the battle of the century to happen in a patch of grass on route 13. It was such a chaotic battle I wanted to draw a comic for it. I might still do that if I'm crazy enough.
What popped out of the grass made me glee.
Absol, lvl 36, female.
Yes, I thought, I've never had an Absol and despite that I'm pretty sure they're totally awesome. Starlett was out and I had her use an Aerial Ace to inflict a bit of damage. At the time, she was at level 45 while everyone else was at level 41-44, just because I'd used her all the way through the mountain with Bianca. The Aerial Ace did barely a fifth of damage to the Absol. It used a Slash and it was fairly powerful. I took a chance and tossed a Dusk ball at it. No dice, it broke out after one rock of the ball. It responded with a Swords Dance, to which I went :[ and threw an Ultra ball at its face. It didn't even rock this time, just snapped right open. It bit Starlett and I was forced to withdraw her or risk losing her. I switched out to Doc since Bug is resistant to dark types and used leaf blade to bring down the health more. It immediatly used slash and brought Doc to red health so I yanked him out and popped in Zisteau for a moment. I threw another Ultra ball, no dice. It used Swords Dance and I cursed and threw another ultra ball. It broke free.
I was seriously considering using up my master ball for a brief second.
Then it used Slash.
Zisteau fainted!
What. WHAT. WHAT?!
I thought MC Gamer's death had left me staring at the screen in abject horror. Nothing compared to me sitting there in complete and utter disbelief. But he'd been at full health, his defences are insane! I thought. Then a little voice in the back of my head went , Were, were insane. Rules are rules, he's gone now. Bet you're glad you didn't take the 'run fails if starter dies' rule now.
I sent Kurt out to finish the job, to kill the Absol. That thing killed Zisteau, I didn't want it on my team. We flew back to Undella town and I had to put Zisteau in the Farlands box.
Sorry Kurt, guess you lost your training partner...
Finding a replacement is extremely hard right now. I've lost the catch for route 13 so there no new pokemon coming from there. I'll list what pokemon I have, their levels and abilities, natures, see if you guys have any suggestions. I suppose it's also helpful to remind you of who is still alive. Right now I've just put Blame into the spot in the team, simply because he's the only fire type at the moment but I'm not sure if he's the best choice.
Choices (from previous team members):
Vechs, Liepard. Lvl 24 dark type, Gentle nature
Beef, Audino. Lvl 35 normal type. Naughty nature.
Sixelona, Cinccino. Lvl 35 normal type. Relaxed nature.
Zoroark,. Lvl 35 dark type. Hasty nature.
Pause, Unfezant. Lvl 35 normal/flying type. Naughty nature.
Untrained pokemon:
Nebris, Drilbur. Lvl 19 ground type. Naive nature.
Baj, Grimer. Lvl 17 poison type. Relaxed nature.
Millbee, Cottonee. Lvl 15 grass type. Careful nature.
Genny, Dwebble. Lvl 21 bug/rock type. Jolly nature.
Packratt, Watchog. Lvl 31 normal type. Naughty nature.
Blame, Litwick. Lvl 29 ghost/fire type. Naughty nature.
Unnamed Drifblim. Lvl 33 ghost/flying type. Naive nature.
Unnamed Altaria. Lvl 36 dragon/flying type. Serious nature.
Unnamed Frillish. Lvll 36 water/ghost type. Lax nature.
At the end of this mini update, the graveyard now has the following victims:
| Avidya | M C Gamer | BDubs | Pyro | Zisteau |
Name suggestions for the three unnamed are welcome, any suggestions for team mates are also welcome.
