Dishes

I had this idea yesterday, and typed it up last night. It's not brilliant, but I'd say it's kind of fun to read. I'd rate it K+, or maybe T at the highest, for implied BDSM-ish stuff. It's also rather short.

“It's your turn to do the dishes, you know,” Seth said, turning to the next page in his new book as Etho ambled into the living room.
“Make me,” Etho replied. He giggled at his own rebelliousness.
Seth looked up into the ninja's eyes, trying to look menacing, and failing completely as he involuntarily smiled. “Want to repeat that?”
“If you want me to wash the dishes, you're gonna have to make me do it,” he said, folding his arms over his chest.
The younger Mindcracker slapped his book down on the coffee table and stood, trying his hardest, but still unable to look scary. “You're on.”
Etho evaded Seth's grasp for several seconds, but eventually Seth cornered him and tackled him to the ground. They rolled across the floor, laughing and wrestling, Seth using his greater weight and strength to prevent his partner from escaping.
Finally Seth managed to subdue Etho, lightly pinning his arms down and kneeling straddling his waist. He looked down at his prisoner triumphantly. “Tired already?”
“Me?” the ninja shook his head dismissively. “I was worried about you getting worn out too soon.” Struggling mightily, he escaped Seth's grip and rolled Seth onto the floor.
“More insubordination? You know you're only making trouble for yourself.”
“I like some trouble, if you know what I mean,” he said, his mild tone contrasting sharply with the flirtatious words.
“I bet you aren't brave enough to take my trouble,” challenged Seth.
Etho grinned down at him, radiating smugness. “I'll be the judge of that.”
Seth shoved Etho off and pushed him to the ground, this time on his stomach. Then he settled himself firmly atop his partner's back, close enough to whisper in his ear. “There are so many options, you'll have to help me decide.”
“Mmm-hmm?”
“You could help me run some redstone experiments. Probably ones involving leather straps and redstone pulses. Etho done technical, you know.”
His breath tickled Etho's skin. The ninja giggled. “Definite potential there.”
“I could gag and collar you.” He lightly tugged Etho's mask away from his face. “Maybe having some quiet time would teach you some manners?”
“That sounds like it could be effective,” offered the ever-helpful ninja.
“I could always give you a sound spanking, if you like. Second thoughts about sitting down for a few days, but,” he sounded amused, “I know you like that one a lot. Does that even count as a punishment?”
Etho blushed. “Sorry. I promise to not to seem happy this time.”
Seth made a soft humming sound, fingers gently stroking the back of Etho's neck. “Nah, I think I have the perfect idea.”
“'Nah'?” the ninja asked, shivering at his touch.
“I know what I want to make you do. I think it'll be perfect.”
The ninja turned his head to eye his captor inquisitively. There was a long moment of silence. Seth looked down at Etho, in much the same way an ocelot looks down a helpless chicken. Etho squirmed under his gaze.
“You're going to wash all the dishes,” Seth said triumphantly.
Perhaps his other ideas would have been more fun, but Etho's groan of disappointment and the prospect of not doing the dishes? Well, that was thoroughly satisfying in its own way. Seth grinned to himself, stood, and returned to the couch and his book.
