For those who are new:

Sign up by posting a comment to this journal with a prompt - it can be one, or two or more, something unique or something that someone's written before. Next Wednesday (7/9) I will pm everyone with your assignment; and you write one of their prompts (so PLEASE have your pms turned on)!

There's no regulations to the prompts other than if you choose to include one NSFW, please also include one SFW so that those who are uncomfortable writing NSFW have an alternative. And, similarly, some people do not write shipping, so if you post a prompt with shipping, an alternative would also be nice, or including a variant that isn't shipping. Thank you.

After the assignments have been sent you, you then have another week (until Thursday 7/17) to write it. Please post them by if not before 7/17!

Okay, this could be shippy or just a best-friend relationship here, but...

Person A is unexpectedly killed by Person B, and no one but Person C knows about it. Person C was friends with both People A & B, but after the incident they are furious with person B. Person C will do anything to avenge Person A's death.

I don't know if that's confusing or not. Hopefully not. Also kinda unoriginal, but I can't think of anything. So yeah.

sure, i'll bite.

prompt one (nsfw): nebris and btc have a little bit of an agreement standing. one of those "i'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" sort of things. they just happen to have one where, if btc sleeps with nebris, nebris will give him gifts.

prompt two: nebtho death note au. nebris finds a death note on the ground, and etho takes it upon himself to catch this mysterious killer. it's all for great justice of course.

prompt three: generic college au story. something humorous, please? this one could be shippy or gen, smutty or fluffy. it's basically up to the writer as long as it's not angsty.

notes: i don't do veylian, setho, or sms. i'd also ask that, in return, whoever gets me doesn't include those pairings in the background. i've got to be a jerk about a couple of things i'm afraid, everyone has their limits.

Prompt: suddenly, mindcrackers (listed below) are teleported to a small, inescapable place in a semi-minecraft universe (such as Console Chronicles or Evil) stated that they are going to be there for a while. there are two problems:

1: the number of personal rooms. there are only half of them to the people in the area. there's only one of everything(including beds)in each room. the roommates are: vechs+aurey etho+nebs zistykins+seth... and two more pairs of whoever you want. remember, they can always sleep on the floor.

2: the competitions. the teams have to participate in events (of your choosing) for the basic amenities (food, water, blankets, the like). the losers (and the first night) they have only minimal food and water (and in terms of blankets, there is a thin sheet on the bed that wouldn't help stave off the pretty cold environment), nothing else (but the clothes on their backs, and I mean NOTHING else).

this is meant to be shippy (at least for the first (and second, but less so)), just stating that out-right in case you missed it.

multiple events would be nice, but not every one writes stuff that long, so I will understand.

Also, sorry for the length, I just had a cool idea I really wanted to explain. I kinda hope (but in no way expect) this becomes a multi-parter,I would love to see more of this idea.

BTW, to elfowl: I have a bit of difficultly writing slash(m/m), so please keep that in mind, I dont want to ruin a perfectly good prompt with my ineptness in that area.

1) NSFW- SMS and knotting. That's about it
2) Any ship with Zisteau (or gen if you wish), I just want to see more done with the whole fact that Zisteau is a zombie pig man coming to live in a whole new environment
3) AU where Aureylian is the First Lady of the United States (or President, if you’d prefer) and the rest of the Mindcrackers are various CIA/bodyguards/general workers at the White House (Gen please!)

5) Steampunk AU
6) Pirate AU! I want to see what someone else will do with this era
7) Etho or Nebris or Nebtho inspired by the song "Don't Mess with Me" by Temposhark

1) A mindcracker meets death, but it's someone they'd never expect to have that job.
2) A mindcracker(s) gets their hands on a time machine.
3) Everyone is the "murderer."

(As a side note to everyone who participates, you need to tag your prompt swaps as fanfiction. You can not just tag it as prompt swap, they are fanfiction and you have to tag it as such.)

Okay, the same 10 as last time:

Prompt Swap!

1. A Mindcracker's parents come on the server. (Setting: Minecraft) Hilarity ensues (Embarrissing baby stories? Stuff like that.)

2. Vechs' or Kurt's
WhiteText/YellowText play matchmaker. (WhiteText/ YellowText are fairy-like things that project words to the air. Look at the altverse fics from forever ago for examples.)

3. Vechs reads an NSFW fic. Someone catches him. (NSFW. Duh.) Why Vechs? Cause he basically asks for it :D

4. Childcrackers! A Mindcracker gets lost while playing hide-n-seek outside.

5. Hidden musical talent. Someone finds out. Let your mind flutter!

6. Replace fairytale characters with Mindcrackers. Exept they have the exact opposite personality as the character.

7. MiddleSchoolCrackers! A 'Cracker sleeps with a stuffed animal. Their best friend finds out. Teasing ensues!

8. Insomnia problems along with nightmares. Should probably be slightly dark.

9. Annual ball for the Mindcrackers! And somebody doesn't have anyone to go with.

10. A Mindcracker (probably a younger one or a kid-like one) gets hyper. And causes havoc.

And if Thundertricker ever finishes his, then that one's out.

1. it wouldn't be me without nebtho so here something very nsfw. Nebtho slave market AU. Run wild with it but the kinkier the better.

2. Blamebris. Mutual pity sex over Etho and Seth.

3. OOG drunken hookup and reminiscing over the good 'ol days.

5. UHC and 1t's the final two. However, it's still early in the game and everyone's died to PVE so they're both ridiculously under-geared.

6. Millbee's lost his favorite toy sheep. Who took it?

7. A demon has been haunting his dreams. He thought it was just the medication, but now that demon seems more real than ever. (Anyone you choose.)

8. Rock Band AU. 5 Mindcrackers start a band together. How talented are they and where will their musical expeditions take them?

Note that this is not to stir trouble. Merely answering why.
I feel that the way Vechs portrays things is very reminiscent of an abusive relationship and the way people write that here tends to normalise that. I also feel that Aurey and especially Vechs' pushing of the ship so much leaves it coming on ridiculously plastic and unpleasant to write and read. Vechs in general tends to also get really obsessive about things, especially people and that makes me uncomfortable.

I guess some of it might just be that you arent a vechs fan, so you arent accustomed to his special kind of insane... the kind some of use share. I personally find that some of the things (though not the people and 'abusive') you've pointed out dont bother me, as I tend to do similar things (and always have); though sometimes to a lesser (or occasionally greater) extent.

I also personally have no felling about Vechs pushing the ship (even if it is a joke), though it does make me feel less awkward placing my favorite youtuber in my fics/prompts (the ones that involve shipping).

1: Power outage, person A is forced to comfort person B because B is afraid of the dark.

2: Kid!Mindcrackers sleepover AU.

3: Robber AU, person A decides to rob a bank and needs the help of person B.

4: Rob's Tomodachi Life, everyone has become self-aware that they are in a video game. How will they cope with the fact that they are Miis in Rob's strange world?

5: No happy endings, person A falls deeply in love with person B only to find out that B is already in a stable relationship with someone else.

I'd prefer it if none of the pairing stories had Nebetho as the main focus, but other than that I don't care. C:

That's cool that we're having one of these every month! It's a great way to keep everyone active and get some inspiration floating around. Since I don't feel very much like being creative this morning, I'm going to submit the prompts from last time that weren't used and a couple of new ones.

- This one could be rather dark if taken in that direction, but it doesn't have to be. Maybe person A has been having a hard time lately and is almost to the point of doing something stupid, but person B finds out and convinces them to stop, also eventually bringing person A out of his/her rut. Shipping optional.

- High-school crush. This could get very complicated if taken into detail, but I think sticking to only a few characters could help it stay within rational length. Shipping is necessary, since crushiness and all that. This could be a neat look into the Mindcrackers as awkward/immature high-schoolers, which would be fun.

- High-school prank. (alternate gen version of the above prompt) Could be anything, just involving pranks and high-school.

- Battle of the ______. A competition between two or more Crackers to one-up the other(s). This could be anything from musical instruments to sports to builds... pretty much anything you could think of. Shipping optional again.

- Beef is the peace-keeper of Team Canada. (referenced from the Canada Stereotypes prank on Adlington, here.)

- Beef and someone else go on a hot air balloon ride. (It really could be anyone, but Beef was the inspiration for this because of the hot air balloon he made on the Season 3 map.) This is definitely more in the shippy direction, but it could be gen if you want to write it that way.

- MC's lapis has gone missing. Panic ensues, and MC becomes a detective again to solve "The Mystery of the Stolen Lapis," which should probably be the title unless you come up with something you like more. Not only is MC affected by the mourning of his lapis, but the mystery itself is very personal to him and he becomes paranoid of everyone around him. Could be either emotional/angsty or comedic (though an emotional/angsty fic about lapis would be comical anyway).

- Genny suddenly finds that there are chickens everywhere he goes, but no one else seems to notice. I don't know what got into my head and wrote this prompt, but I'll put it down anyway. If you choose this one, have fun with it! The more ridiculous, the better.

1. Preferably IRL - The mindcrackers read some fanfiction about themselves. Maybe have random ships in the background? If not, just reacting to them is fine.
2.Etho's companion on crackpack, Sethbot, follows him everywhere he goes. Just one problem, he can't talk. Etho makes Sethbot as a human styled robot. Take as you will.
3. A Mindcracker painting a wall suddenly feels someone touch their cutie booty. They look down to see two red handprints on their pants. They look at their friend, who happens to have red paint on their hands; they only say "Looks like you caught me RED HANDED!" - Taken from the Prompt Salad on Tumblr because I liked it. <3

oh, you just dont the two of them. Okay, I can respect that. I guess Vechs is for some people and the others are of other kinds, I've noticed that to a degree when trying to watch their stuff. It is just very different.

yeah, I dont know. to me, it seems like the majority of people like veylian, that majority just doesnt normally include the writers (at least those who are brave/confident enough/have enough time to sign up for the prompt swap). I'm just hoping some (more)of the people I read consistently (or well, those who arent against verylian) sign up, as then my prompt would feel so out of place / it would be sent to someone who I think would be able to do the prompt justice (becuase they can do veylian). No offence to those not against veylian who have already signed up, but I havent seen that much of you writing, and as such you are an enigma to me, meaning that I have no idea if you would be able to do the prompt well.

EDIT: never mind about the lack of anti-veylian people (in the second paragraph). I was in how-would-I-feel-about-writing-this-prompt mode when I was looking over the entries, and I kinda missed how many of the writers I respect have signed but , but simply didnt mention veylian at all (neither for or against it). As such, I missed a lot of them, and feel tout of place due to my prompt being the only one with veylian requested in it.Sorry.

It's all good!

Let me make something clear though, not to be rude or anything. I can write Vechs or Aurey or Veylian. When I take requests, I will accept it unless I already have too much on my plate. Which I do, with a Stoner!AU and an Avidya fic to write, I can't fiddle-fart around with something I don't wanna write. I need to get the prompt done quickly. If it's a request, I can drag my feet a bit more.

I just don't like it enough to read about it or be interested in it. Yes, I like to challenge myself to write about people I'm not familiar with, but I don't want to waste my time reading it.

Yes, another prompt swap! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to participate in the last edition, and as such I didn't join... but this month, it's time to join in on the fun!

1. Mhykol decides that amnesia is a seriously underrated and underreported cause of insanity when none of the other 25 members of Mindcrack seem to remember who he is.

2. Pause wakes up to find that Etho was a product of his imagination, and nothing more. The other Mindcrackers have never even heard of an Etho - it's like he has never, will never, and does not exist. But Pause knows he did, and that he does. Doesn't he?

3. CrackPack: The Better Team has a team meeting. Unfortunately for them, Pause seems to be convinced that not only are they having a Tribal Council, but that Jeff Probst should be there to moderate any voting off that may occur. And can anyone say blindsides?

Or a more generic version of this:

The (Better Team/Best Team) goes to what (a member of one of the teams) thinks is Tribal Council. Too bad no one told (same member) that this wasn't a game of Survivor, and that (any member of Mindcrack, Jsano maybe?) wasn't in fact Jeff Probst.

Hmm... Prompt Swap... I'll give it a go!

Prompt Juan (1): Two on two coliseum type battles (so 4 mindcrackers total) and they fight for the trophy as best Mindcrack tag team fighters

Prompt 2: Anderz goes on a killing spree caused by one of the other Mindcrackers. They have to find out who before Anderz kills them all with his mighty axe of death! (basically Anderz kills people with an axe and mystery solving ensues) (If there is no gore warning, I will be disappoint)

Prompt 3: Generik and BDubs set up a dungeon to trap and make everyone work for them, mining emeralds, but two Mindcrackers find something else in the mines (this can be done as either NSFW or SFW depending on what you want that something to be)

Hope these are good prompts that will yield an interesting fic!

I know haven't been a particiant at all in this fantastic community, hopefully this will get me back into the swing of writing!

1. There are never enough coffeshop!au in this world.
2. One cracker has taken the same bus/train/walking route for a long time. Suddenly there's a new person who seems to be on the train/bus/walking, too. (Train or bus could break down. Crowded if using train causes close proximities. Walking into things, if using the walking route, from making eye contact for to long....etc.)
3. Divde it into parts using the four seasons.
4. Someone reliving the day over and over and over. Like Groundhog Day or The Edge of Tomorrow. Something along those lines.
5. Anything to do with Beef being a photographer.

And to answer your question (and tell everyone who might have missed it): THIS post above is how I found out that something really odd is going on with my DW account.
I am logged in, yet when I went to post that comment I was asked to log in. Confused and complaining about glitches I relogged...and it showed up as Anonymus. I logged back out and back in again, trying to mention this and apologize. Only to find out that the commenting was now also grayed out for me. Switching the browser and restarting the PC did not help. Neither did changing the computer or deleting my cache and cookies.
It kinda does explain what happened to my last PromptSwap, even though I have no idea what is causing these glitches =b
I've now found a way to comment in comment sections again, at least. (Still Anonymus)
