Okay, ludicrous prompt idea/thoughts: just why is Nichole so excited about the concept of John wearing her old dress? Does Lady GennyB feel the same way on her end? Will the boys end up liking it more than they initially thoughts? So basically, Ms. Mod, you're asking them to encourage your crossdressing kink. Um. Yes. >.>

I've seen all the "dress" bickering, and the fanart, but I admit I've stopped watching B-Team stuff because I find it all so fakey and twee. (Which is probably another post in of itself, and touching on that whole recent "Some questions to Bdoubleo concerning his 'character'" post on reddit.) So, what's the deal behind the rest of it? I think it spawned from some non-Minecraft game, but that's about all I know. There's talk of them wearing dresses in real life now? Why?

Long story short, whoever "finishes" the new Call of Duty game last between the two of them is forced to wear a dress in real life and have video proof of such on their channel. Nicole has apparently already planned for this, bringing out her old prom dress and related paraphernalia.

There's a part of me that hates when crossdressing is presented this way, and a part of me that is amused - and knows that it can start this way and end in the completely different messing-with-gender-because-it's-actually-awesome way. (I have a really personal and complicated relationship with "real world genderbending", if it's not apparent by now.)

It's definitely something interesting to explore. I imagine it would affect Bdubs a lot more than Genny. Genny would put on a dress and ham it up and laugh a lot and be ridiculous, whereas I think Bdubs would be extremely self-conscious about it. He'd do it of course, but I think he has a lot of psychological issues with being perceived as gay (and therefore "less of a man" and possibly less of a human according to his religion/family). (Possibly I am full of shit. This is just my impression.) It's interesting if his wife is into it, though I'm not especially surprised because drag is so often seen as funny. I'm glad she's got a good humor about it. With the kind of views/money stunts like that are likely bringing him, she probably ought to be.

Why a dress though? How'd that even come up?

Not related to the current prompts, but I've got another type of fan work involving art that I'm working on now that I really hope to get done before Saturday because of relevant reasons, but it's taking a lot of work. I really hope it works out, though, because I'm really enjoying it.
