mindcracklovethis place is dead...let's liven shit up, eh?
one of the things i've come up with for this fandom is an x-men au. so like mutants and shit. basically super powers except it happens to people because of a thing with their genes. they aren't x-men though...actually, this could honestly exist within the same universe as the x-men.
this was a scene i came up with. nebris and pyro chainsmoking on the roof while nebris complains about etho.
mutations:
nebris can float and is super agile
pyro can manipulate his body by turning it into fire
etho is a telepath
sfw.

Mindcrack Club. A group of talented mutants with a dedication to protecting some of the strongest telepaths in the world. They've always had one problem though...
They've all always been after one and one thing only. Saving themselves.
It's always been a dangerous world for those with mutations. Angry humans, those who consider themselves normal, coming after them. And, now, there are police forces dedicated to taking their kind down.
It wasn't a big deal to any of them though. After all, being powerful is kind of a requirement to be in the Mindcrack Club. A neutral party with good intentions. A sort of guns-for-hire club, but they aren't for hire. Dedicating their lives to protecting the powerful telepaths.
Of course, this makes some people feel very inferior.
"I can't fucking believe it. I got Etho duty again!"
Nebris had his arms crossed as he floated slightly above the ground, complaining about nearly everything. The smokers in the Mindcrack club had been forced onto the roof after many complaints from BTC, so it usually ended up with Nebris venting to whoever was with him at the time.
Which just happened to be Pyro, whom Nebris was also using as a human lighter. A hand, clutching a cigarette, fell to Pyro's side, who lit it with a snap of his fingers.
"Well, clearly...um...Guude trusts you? I mean, Etho is pretty powerful..."
"No no. Guude does not trust me. That's why I'm a fucking babysitter."
Pyro ignored that in favor of taking a drag of his cigarette. Nebris launched into a rant, voice growing slightly faint as he floated higher and higher.
"And then he...shit!" Nebris sighed, letting his body float down to the ground.
"When are you going to admit that you're in love with Etho!" A voice sounded from the other side of the roof.
Pause was sitting over there, smirk on his face and a lighter in his hands.
"I'm not!"
Pause lit his cigarette and exhaled.
"Sure you aren't."
