Thought I'd pop this up early. :) What's been on your mind this week, made you squee, flail at *all the feels* or just laugh out loud?

Random topic: Co-ops! We've had some random but very enjoyable collaborations going on this week. Etho, Zisteau and Baj in ABBA rules caving; Beef, Packratt and BlameTC exploring FTB; and Mhykol's anniversary caving trip with Genny, Avidya, Beef and Etho. What other unusual pairings/groupings would you like to see?

I may slowly be getting into the FTB stuff yet. I never did give it a proper chance, because there was just so much content surrounding this mod I don't really care about, but then I found out there were penguins.

I freaking love penguins.

So I watched Beef's episode with Pak and BTC where they fight the hydra and afterwards, eventually discover penguins, and lo, and they were adorable. I am 100% with Beef on this one. And the episode overall was kind of intriguing and I thought I might be up to watching more of this FTB thing after all. Plus the Beef/Pak/BTC team up is not a combination you see everyday, so it might be worth it just for the random groupings.

I got overwhelmed with FTB stuff myself, and a bit bored. What's the penguin episode cause that sounds adorable. I kind of want to give Zisteau's ep a try too since apparently he's taking a different approach to it.

Episode 11. Skip to about 20 minutes in for penguins if you don't care about the hydra fight. It's seriously like the first time Beef discovered bats.

Oh yeah, I should try Zisteau too.

That was a lot of fun, actually. The Hydra fight was hilarious with everyone dying and not knowing how to defeat it. I about fell out of my seat when Beef went looking for lava and sang, "Lava can you hear me?" That he knows Yentl just makes me so happy.

The penguins are adorable, but man all the animals are! Deer and squirrels! I'd want to live right there.

I also am slowly getting into FTB. So far I'm only watching Pak's and Zisteau's episodes.

Maybe later I'll watch more perspectives, but mods usually confuse me so that's why I don't usually watch those episodes. Same thing happened when I tried to watch Pakratt do TerrafirmaCrack, but I just stopped watching entirely because I was getting so confused.

I'm kind of having the opposite of "all the feels." I'm having like, anti-feels? I dunno. I keep trying to watch BdoubleO's stuff and I'm just suddenly not feeling it. I thought it was just a general disinterest in B-Team stuff, but his latest didn't even have B-Team stuff in it, do I don't know what's up. I feel like maybe it's the lack of OOG love happening, because a big part of what I liked about him was his interactions/relationship with Guude. He had a little moment showing off the house Guude built in his village, but it still feels empty. I keep hoping for a change, but I'm not holding my breath. I just hope my interest in Guude doesn't diminish too. :|

I think probably because my brain is telling me that Bdubs is the reason OOG isn't happening, even if Guude is the one with the tight schedule. Just sad.

At least VintagePause is still a thing? And while I am also ambivalent about potential underlying reasons OOG isn't happening, Guude did say he's changing up his schedule this coming year so he has more time. Who knows...

It's actually been pretty enjoyable/business as usual! Between this and the return of VintagePause I can't help but feel happy, I guess. :3

I've been enjoying most of everything that showed up on my youtube sub box. FTB is enjoyable still and I'm looking forwards to people finding Zisteau's bases.

On a side note, I was watching Guude's minecon videos and a friend was staying at the time. She peeked over my shoulder and spotted B-Dubs in the video just before they do the podcast vid, and immediately called him a cutey. I was amused :D

What has been on my mind is that BTC's sick-voice is a gorgeous thing. I feel bad for taking advantage of his illness, but it is so, so good.

Also today's vid from Avidya is more building with Doc, who talks about Minecon and describes Pause as a teddy bear.

Oh, speaking of Doc, how 'bout that story of when he got into a bar fight? Guude talked about it in a recent video, Doc has a video where he gives his perspective, and I think I heard that Bdubs talked about it in a livestream as well. I am very impressed at the concept of Doc picking fights with anyone. He's such an easygoing, peaceful guy who's so polite to everyone, so you know shit just got real if he's had enough.

Yeah, Doc always seems happy and super nice - usually those are the people you don't want to piss off. Being incredibly tall probably helps, too. Much <3 to Doc.

Did you see he's started an adventure map with Xisuma?

I haven't watched it. Xisuma's one of those people I don't know much about, but I might as well give it a shot.

Can we talk about my accent-related feels when it comes to a Doc + Xisuma adventure map?? Because FEELS, even if Hypixel's maps aren't really my style.

I think I have a thing for mapmakers. Vetches, Amlup, three_two ... yep. One of them playing another's map never fails to make me happy. xD

I want to watch the Avidya/Doc thing too. I'm so behind!

At first I wasn't really into the FTB stuff but now that so many people are into it I've started picking up the stuff and it's actually really fun to see the different ways all of them are progressing (since there are so many new things to explore)

I've been especially enjoying Zisteau with the secret base stuff he has going; also as I am an aspiring programmer, Guude messing with the computer stuff has been fun to watch ("Eject dicks" ..silly guy)

I watched Guude's programming episodes today, and even though I have no idea what's going on, it was really cool to see him get so excited about the things he could do. And "Eject dicks" was the funniest thing ever.
