Group Rewatch S6E5: RFW2 420OG vs JEDS episode 2

Episode 2:
420OG: Avidya | Coestar | BdoubleO | Guude
JEDS: Etho | Static
I never got around to adding my nostalgic squee to the last post, so this will both the episode and my general history with with match.
This match was my first exposure to RFW. I got into it through Etho, as this was his first ever match. Sadly, his team didn't do so well against 420OG, as you can surely tell just from the first two episodes. I had also known about Guude and BdoubleO at the time, though I hadn't really watched their videos outside of this. This was also my first exposure to most everyone else, and I've always remembered Avidya as being the bow and arrow god because of this match.
Speaking of, the PVP really stepped up in this map compared to the last map. There were several deaths within minutes of the match starting, which was great. That was something I thought was largely missing from the previous match.
Anyway, being primarily an Etho fan at the time and therefore rooting for JEDS, it was a bit saddening to see them flail so much compared to the other team, but there were a few reasons that happened. Being all from very different, faraway parts of the world ("people with accents" as BdoubleO says), they were getting a lot of lag. It was also their first time playing RFW, so even though the map was new to everyone, 420OG still had more experience doing this sort of thing.
Interestingly, this was also my first time being exposed to the term "VintageBeef," never suspecting I would one day come to watch and love Beef's videos. Kinda funny JEDS falsely came to the conclusion that it meant swimming in lava, so I was a bit confused for a time as to what that meant.
And oh, the funny lines I still remember from this match, largely surrounding BdoubleO:
-You're like the brain part of my head that tells me to do smart things.
-Your butt was very receptive to those blocks.
-Thank you, that's why I have it.
There was also some bit where Avidya commented to save the sex until after the match, but I forgot where in the video that exchange was, and everyone's videos start and end at different times, so beware of that if you want to switch between perspectives.
Unrelated: This is me saying I have finished writing some fic, and I just need to type and edit it, so expect it soon. Though, it's kind of long, so maybe not that soon.
