I must be out of it, I'm sure I can smell coffee.

Wait, did I leave the lights on?

Kurt pushed the door open cautiously, certain that this was not how he'd left the Observatory before his trip. He'd made it even longer on himself by taking a detour on the way back through the Far Lands world. He was still feeling overwhelmed by the whole experience of his journey, a dazed kind of happiness matched only by the exhaustion of travel and crowds.

Despite the tiredness, he couldn't help a smile when Zisteau poked his head up the stairs and grinned broadly at him. He didn't protest when the other man took his bag and set it aside before wrapping him in a hug. He might even have made a soft noise of contentment as he rested his head on Zisteau's shoulder.

Zisteau chuckled. "Before you fall asleep on me right here, you should know I brought bagels." He said softly.

"Mmmm."

Another chuckle, and the soft brush of a hand ruffling his hair.
