When did today become so eventful?

Well this is somewhat unexpected. I think we were all expecting Juicetra to be added next, or at least someone who was at Minecon this year, but then again, there were those rumors a while ago about Paulsoares and UHC or whatever it was.

This brings our count up to four people I will never get to play with in the ever outdated Mindcrack mod.

This is exciting. I hope we have lots of collabs between him and the other Mindcrack members. I imagine that Paul could easily joke around with Guude, chill out with Avidya and Doc, and even goof around with MC.

I used to watch him all the time, and he has a great energy and commentating style. Despite his family-friendly youtube tendencies (he's very much like Etho and MC when it comes to child-friendliness) his fanbase is usually mature and well-behaved from what I've seen. Most of his fans are actually in the same demographic as other Mindcrackers (male teenagers) with a large amount of viewers his own age.

I never watched him, but he seems pretty cool in the video where he said he was joining. A lot of Mindcrack fans seem to like him, judging by the comments I've seen.

Yup. Was REALLY expecting Juicetra next!I forgot about that UHC announcement he mad a while back.

Hmm, haven't watched Paul in a looooong time and don't know really to expect. Only watched his snapshot/update videos until I found out doc did those as well.

But I do know that Pyrao is also named Paul. so that well get confusing if they were ever both in a skype call. (I have a super common name, and a close friend who is in my circle of friends has it too-it gets annoying really fast when someone just says: "Oh hey NAME; oh no, other one. Sorry")

Also remember in the podcast when they said that "Someone bigger than Etho may join mindcrack soon!"? Just realized that that isn't true anymore, just wanted to point it because I thought that was funny.

Congrats to him anyways.

Wait, you mean that Etho's more popular than Paulsoares? Huh, so he is.

Pyro will probably be called Pyro, then. There are multiple Dans on the server but people do not mix them up, generally. ;)

Did you watch his most recent dev com? He seems to be focusing purely on CTM maps at the moment, both making his own and playing someone else's. I really don't know if Vechs is interested in recording his pure vanilla Minecraft play, even on a server as "established" as Mindcrack.

I think in terms of Mindcrack bringing together the "elder guard" of LPing (i.e. Avidya's return) it makes a lot of sense, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if Coe was invited but declined. There's a number of Mindcrackers who are Paul Soares Jr. fans, which probably helps as well - Kurt even makes Spy Chicken references as easter eggs in his backgrounds, which is like being enough of an Etho fan to make General Spaz references.

I haven't watched much of his content, but I know he's a very good Super Hostile map player who has the patience of a saint and also does a semi-Bogota style LP with family. [Bogota-style in that it involves people who know each other in real life, not in the sense of mad adventures in puppy killing and insane builds, though who knows?] Both of these concepts really fascinate me so I'm curious to see what he brings to Mindcrack.
