Fanfic - Masks
Monday, March 31st, 2014 03:23 pmCan't help but to write him as a villain...
“So what exactly is under the mask?” Vechs asked, reaching a hand out to try and pull BTC's mask off. BTC backed up, pulling his sword out in front of him. Vechs tilted his head slightly, making a slight hm sound. “That protective? Fine, but even skeletons sleep sometime!” Vechs said before shrugging easily, leaving BTC alone, if slightly annoyed.
And then the games began. Vechs would try and creep up on him and steal his mask at every opportunity. Threat of swords did nothing, since Vechs didn't seem to fear death. Threats against his base were similarly pointless BTC realized, since he just rebuilt it with a laugh, and threw spiders at BTC before trying to peel the mask off again.
So he decided to get back at the one thing that might convince Vechs to back off.
Zisteau was not an easy man...well, pigman to catch. He was always busy somewhere, either building or planning a build, and never seemed to sleep. Then again, the zombie pigmen in the nether didn't seem to sleep much either.
It had taken a few weeks, but he had Zisteau securely trapped in a small room after a night of heavy drinking. Even that was hard to achieve, zombie pigmen could really down the alcohol. BTC sighed, thinking of how many diamonds it had cost for all those drinks. A small fortune, but that could be recovered later.
Opening up his phone, BTC smirked as he pulled up Vechs' number.
“Hey BTC!” Vechs said brightly. He had just woken up from a nap, but it was nice getting a call from BTC. Though it was a bit suspicious. “Have you decided to send me a picture of your face finally?” he said with a laugh.
BTC grinned to himself. “No. But in regards to that, I suggest you knock it off, this is your final warning,” he said, sighing as he heard Vechs chuckle.
“What makes you think I'd stop now? You've said that before,” Vechs said, amused.
“Because I have your precious pigman here this time,” BTC said, relishing the sharp intake he heard over the line. “So are you going to be good now, or do I have to take it out on him?” BTC said, voice cold.
Silence hanged on the line long enough for BTC to check the phone to see if Vechs hung up before he heard Vechs again.
“No. He's a grown pigman, he can take care of himself. Good luck with that,” Vechs said before hanging up.
BTC shrugged at the phone before putting it under his robes, opening the door to the room he was keeping Zisteau in. Zisteau seemed to be stirring already from his drunken state. BTC sighed, annoyed at how quickly zombie pigmen metabolised alcohol. Stepping into the room BTC gave a startled grunt as he was suddenly grabbed and pined to the wall.
“Please explain why I'm in a jail cell,” Zisteau said, voice low and rumbling. BTC flexed his hands slightly, trying to inch them closer to the blade he always carried. He cursed as Zisteau saw and punched him hard in the side before taking the sword and throwing it on the ground. “Explain.”
“I was planning on using you as a negotation chip to get Vechs to stop being a dick, but he apparently didn't care enough about you,” BTC said with a hiss. Zisteau smirked at him, tusks glistening.
“Doubtful. More likely he knew I can take care of myself. Speaking of which, I'll be going now. No hard feelings, but I don't think I'm ever going out drinking with you again,” Zisteau said before punching BTC in the stomach and dropping him, leaving the cell.
BTC groaned and picked himself and his blade up, wincing. He decided he hated zombie pigmen, and hated Vechs even more.
