So... It's been like, over a week (I typed year in here by accident at first, lol) since I posted the last chapter. Sorry. I was lazy :P But, here's the next chapter. And, as per usual, cliffhanger! If the chapter seems a bit repetitive, it has it's reasons. I was trying to go through everyone there. If you didn't see yourself there, don't worry. You'll be there... Just maybe not yet. :P (Trying not to spoil anything. Ain't easy, ya know!) Also, a lot of Salad this chapter.

Etho was awoken by a sound that had gotten more and more common lately. The sound of knocking on his door, and yelling. Suddenly, it broke down. He heard an exclamation of surprise. He got out of bed, dressed and went to see who had broken his door down.
“Um… Well, this is… Um...” Book stuttered, looking at the shattered door. Etho just looked at her and laughed. Book glared at him.
“I know, sorry, I shouldn’t laugh, but… You knocked my door down. By accident.” Etho said, giggling. Book just looked at him for a moment, and then shook her head.
“Oh yeah! Lioness sent me to get you. Guude has asked all Mindcrackers to the village centre, and the Saladers. I don’t have all the details, but Lioness was worried. And that doesn’t happen often.” Book stated. Etho nodded.
“Well, let’s go!” Etho walked to the village centre, hurrying slightly. He knew, as well as anyone else, that Guude wouldn’t have asked everyone to the centre unless it was dire. Definitely not both villages.

Vechs leaned back against a wall, feeling the uneven surface scratch into his back. He’d probably get a splinter if he relaxed too long, but he didn’t think they’d be that long. Suddenly, he felt a rush of air by him. He turned, to see a large figure with violet eyes.
“Hi, Nebris.” The goggled man said. Nebris turned to say hello, when a skeleton, seemingly covered in coal, appeared and tried to stab Vechs with the stone sword he was holding. Vechs tried to dodge out of the way, but got a slight graze from the edge of the sword on his arm. Vechs instantly conjured a sword above the skeleton’s head, dropping it into it and killing the skeleton.

The centre was swarmed. The coal skeletons were running amok, with a few zombie pigmen following along. Guude summoned his four turtles, Wilson, Huey, Dewey and Louie to battle. They jumped into battle, moving extremely fast for the ordinary turtle. So, around walking speed for a normal person. Guude grabbed his sword, and began to fight.

Etho heard the commotion, and ran quickly, instinctively altering his own visibility so he was nothing more than an outline. He drew his sword while he ran.

Nebris teleported around, creating illusionary cages around the skeletons and stabbing them, then disappearing before they could move. It was going well, until one of the skeletons saw him teleport in behind another and throw a lightning fast blow at him, catching his arm. It sawed through it, ending around half-way down. Nebris gasped in shock and crumpled to the ground.

Kurt and Zisteau were fighting side by side, Kurt’s pet wolf, Wolfie, accompanying them. Zisteau was yelling in the language of the pigmen, trying to get the other pigmen to assist them, instead of the coal skeletons. A few had listened, and had started fighting the skeletons, but the majority were ignoring Zisteau. Zisteau slammed his sharpened sign into one of the skeleton arms, lopping it off. Wolfie jumped up, biting the skeleton Kurt was fighting. The two looked around, and saw Nebris fall. They looked at each other, and ran in his direction.

Vechs raised his arm to parry a blow, and conjured a floating wall in front of the skeleton’s sword after it pulled back for another blow. He dodged to the side and stabbed it through the side. He had a lull in the fighting, so he checked the wound the skeleton had made earlier. It seemed to be scabbing over at an extremely fast rate, but, strangely, it had a very dark tinge to it. Vechs gave it no heed, and continued fighting.

Suddenly, from behind, Kurt felt a searing pain on his arm, as a sword cut into it. Zisteau heard his cry of pain, and turned. When he saw what was happening, he roared in anger. He ran forward at a speed that seemed impossible to anyone without super speed powers. His sign slammed into the skeleton, crashing through its body like lava through butter. Zisteau stood over Kurt, roaring and swinging his sign.

Etho ran into the square, Book by his side. He assessed the situation instantly. He gulped, running forward to protect Nebris. Book ran off, shattering several skeletons with blows. Etho turned his attention to Nebris. He became fully invisible and drew his sword, stabbing left and right. Suddenly, Wilson flew by, clamping a coal skeleton’s arm between its jaws. Etho ignored it, rolled below a loose sword strike, and reached Nebris. He turned his invisibility off and attracted attention from the skeletons.
“Don’t touch him!” Etho yelled in anger.

Kappa appeared behind one of the skeletons attacking Vechs and stabbed it through the chest. Vechs grinned at her, in thanks. She nodded, disappeared again and killed another. Suddenly, a stray blow caught her on the arm. She cursed, and fought on.

Rose zoomed in, cutting at a skeleton before it had time to react. She zoomed around Zisteau, protecting him from harm. Zisteau was killing many, with his sign, but it was obvious. They were slowly being overwhelmed. Everyone was.

Red morphed into a lion, flashing out with her claws, silently giggling at the thought of being more lion than Lioness. She changed into a wolf, dodging away from a sword blow and biting, then into a bird, flying up and swooping down, pecking. She morphed from animal to animal, occasionally becoming a coal skeleton to confuse them. But they seemed limitless.

Rain fought, trying to convince the skeletons to stop fighting. They spoke a very limited language, with a very small dictionary of words. But, from what she had realised, they had a very complicated hive mind, of sorts.

Bolts of fire flew from Marcus’ hands. They rarely affected the skeletons, however. The occasional bolt managed to burn through their bones, but it was a rare thing. She drew her blade and started slicing left and right, continuing with the fire bolts.

Sharpie disappeared, manipulating the shadows to cover her. She drew Flame’s Blade, using its sharpened edge to break through bones with ease. But the skeletons seemed endless. She moved through the shadows, appearing behind skeletons with ease. She was tempted to flee, but did not. Suddenly, she felt a headache coming on. She sighed.

Jiminee transformed into a deer, kicked, and transformed back. She dodged a blow with cat-like reflexes (Or should that be deer-like reflexes?) and stabbed forwards. She doubted that she’d be able to survive long without help. She ducked a blow and tried to make her way towards someone else.

Sis struck back, feeling the force of the blow reverberate through her arm. She had already established that they were not animals, so she couldn’t speak to them. She looked to her side, and saw Purple fighting next to her.
“Hey, can you read these things’ minds? Because, if you could, that would be a real help!” She asked, seeing Purple’s grimace as she got a cut.
“Not sure. I’ll try just as soon as I’m not being attacked by skeletons!” Purple mentioned, pretending, and failing, to be nonchalant about the whole thing.

Nebris stirred. He felt a searing pain through his arm. He was hardly conscious. He opened his eyes a crack, and saw a figure standing over him. He could faintly hear a voice shouting. Was that Etho? Nebris saw Etho in battle against numerous skeletons. Suddenly, one appeared behind him. Nebris tried to warn him, but his voice wouldn’t work. He saw it, almost in slow motion. The blade went down, arcing to hit Etho in the head. The flat of the blade hit the platinum hair, and Etho staggered, and fell. He saw movement to the side, and desperately hoped it was help. Then he passed out.

Well, at least it's 1,000 words. :P

This is really good, Tom. Doesn't matter if it was repetitive, since most people got to be in the story. I like this bit:

I know, sorry, I shouldn’t laugh, but… You knocked my door down. By accident

I hope I don't regularly break down doors by accident...

Yeah. I sort of base these profiles off of myself. My friends don't want arm wrestles with me, for example, because I am determined to win and sometimes forget that it hurts them. And then when we high five, it hurts then like mad, but I don't feel a thing. So yeah. Anyway, thanks for adding me!
