Also, what do we want to do next season?

How about the Dropper maps Beef, Baj, and Guude did? Those were really funny.

These guys are not having a good day. Also, wow, we're almost done with this series? It doesn't feel like it's almost over.

Next season? Kingdom of the Sky? I suggest this not at all because it's Guude/Beef and I may or may not already be watching it for "research" purposes. >_> Hmm, but then again, I feel like we've done a lot of stuff with Beef (and Guude for that matter), and now I'm just looking through various guys' playlists looking for other possibilities. Apparently Millbee's done Skyblock with Vechs, Cleo, and some other person I've never heard of. That could be fun. Or perhaps a few matches of Race for the Wool?

I started watching when it was already 4v4 on the Direct Fire map (that's the second RFW map Vechs made). I never watched any of the footage from the first map, and there was at least one early match on RFW2 that was 2v2 that I haven't seen. I'm pretty sure the match that got me into it was 4200G vs. JEDS (that's Guude, BdoubleO, Coestar, and Avidya versus Etho, Doc, Static, and Joker). Other significant teams at the time were 10kMC (MC, Mhykol, Dewtroid, and SimpleGamerz), and of course Team Tunnel Rat (Zisteau, Pause, Cleo, and Joe Hills). There's various combinations of those four teams going against each other, all on the Direct Fire map, but there's enough content there that I wouldn't go with anything later than that. In any case my obsession with RFW back in the day was like the life cycle of a really large star-- super intense, but fast burning, and it had all but died by the time it turned into the Reddit tournaments and teams got switched around and everyone and their dog wanted in and fans started making knock off maps, etc. I kind of felt bad that I couldn't muster the same enthusiasm by the time the KGBS became a thing doing this, because I was a big fan of Kurt and Brian, but I had mostly gotten sick of RFW by then.

I don't even think I watched every match even between the four original teams I mentioned, and it's hard for me to remember specifically which matches I have seen, since this stretches back to a time before I cared about half these people, which is kind of odd for me to think about-- I don't remember watching any footage from 10kMC's perspective because I wasn't familiar with anyone on that team at the time, and then about a year later I become a huge MC fan through entirely different means. But that's part of why I think it'd be interesting to look at now, you know?

Edit: Well, that was quite rambly. Well done, self. ^_^;;

Wow, so many teams. I only ever watched Zisteau's POV during the Direct Fire map, but he did lead me to Clea and Pause and then Guude after several months. I think I was in the mood for Zisteau but I'd watched all his vids then ended up link surfing on the RFW videos :D

There was no handy outsider commentary back then, unfortunately, and the matches are too long to do one per post, especially since there's two sets of commentary. This was before going through the map became a practiced science, so one match could take up four 30 minute episodes.

It's up to everyone else if we want to try it. And I could help track down the links if we do, since there are so many perspectives.

How about the Vechs Enters Chaos Ensues? I don't think we did that one yet and it's got a Hermit and Mindcrackers as well as our lovely evil Vechs :D
