Vechs, Zisteau, Kurt and A New Toy
Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 08:02 pmI promised Purple that I would give her SMS fluff for her Magic AU. Here more fluffy.
The desert rolled out behind the trio as they made their way back home. Zisteau withdrew his sunglasses and smiled at Kurt, “Hi, bud. Look tired.”
Kurt yawned and pushed his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose, “Ya. If the sun would go away I could get at least a bit of sleep.” Zisteau nodded sympathetically before turning back around to where Vechs was driving.
“Vetches. How much longer? The sun is dampening our spirits.”
Vechs turned to look at Zisteau, “Maybe 15 minutes. I see the city from here.” Zisteau and Kurt looked past the windshield and noticed the sand was quite a ways behind them and they were making their way back to the big city.
Zisteau relaxed and shut his eyes, “Gonna take a cat nap.”
Vechs nodded and continued driving.
---
Kurt shook his father awake as they pulled into the garage, “Dad. We’re home.”
Zisteau smiled at Kurt who bounded into the house followed by Vechs who closed the garage door, “C’mon, Pigderp!”
Stepping inside the sweet smells of home filled his senses. Kurt was in the living room gathering his toys to put away. Vechs was in the kitchen cooking dinner. And Zisteau was being. Well. Zisteau.
Kurt ran up and tugged his father's arm, “Dad c’mon! I wanna show you something.”
Zisteau let himself be tugged along by Kurt as he was led to the front door. Kurt opened the wooden shield to the outside and on the front porch was a pure white wolf with a man. The man had white hair like the wolf and a red eye.
Zisteau pushed Kurt back inside and shut the door. Putting up his fists he said, “If you’re here to attack my family. I won’t have anything of it. What do you want?”
The man took a step back and the wolf followed suite, “Just here to offer this wolf. He has outgrown my facilities and must be relocated to a family of three men. I see you have that here.” The man gestured to the house.
Zisteau lowered his fists but quickly raised them again, “Is this wolf. A killing mech that is going to brutally murder my family?” The man shook his head, “None of the sort. Take the wolf and I will be off.”
Cautiously making his way over to the wolf he noticed a distinguishing feature. He had a blue eye and a red eye like Kurt’s 3-D glasses, “Why are the eyes those colors?”
The man inspected the wolf and shrugged, “Same reason I have white hair. Born with it.”
Zisteau looked the wolf over for anything different, “If this is meant to kill me. Let me tell my fam-.” Zisteau looked up and the man was gone leaving the oddly eye colored wolf.
“Guess you're ours now little guy.” said Zisteau who scratched the wolf behind the ears cautiously. He led the wolf inside where Vechs and Kurt were sitting on the stairs waiting.
Kurt’s eyes went wide at the wolf and he lunged for it, “Dad look! It’s like stuffed Wolfie, but real!”
Zisteau looked at the stuffed toy then the wolf, “An uncanny resemblance.”
Vechs looked at the toy then the wolf, “Even the eyes match…” Zisteau looked at the stuffed toy once again and sure enough, the eyes were red and blue. “Amazing.” Kurt said as he stroked behind the wolf’s ear and it made a soft noise of contentment.
“Kurt?” Vechs said his hands on his knees as he looked into Kurt’s eyes.
“Do you want to name this, little guy, Wolfie.”
Kurt jumped up and down in excitement at the name, “Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you, guys!” He hugged his parents necks before sitting beside Wolfie.
“I love you guys…” Said Kurt before walking Wolfie upstairs and falling asleep.
