mindcrackloveIT'S BACK AFTER A LONG BREAK! Enjoy some stuff and things in this chapter.
Chapter 8:
Dan and Alex sat in their dorm discussing the ‘Initiation’ Edward and the seniors were talking about.
“What do you think this means?” asked Alex.
Dan shrugged, “Tormentation. Annoyance. Being asses to freshmen.”
Alex deflated slightly making Dan chuckle, “Can’t be that bad.”
He shrugged, “I just don’t want to be a victim of torment.”
“How’d you get into this school you wuss?” asked Dan.
Alex sighed, “Edward.”
“Exactly. Now hakuna your tatas and sleep.”
“Did you just tell me to calm my… Know what? Not even gonna ask.”
Dan laughed as he fell onto his bed switching off the lamp, “Night man.”
“Night.”

Edward undid the buttons on his coat and tossed it into the closet. Pulling his shirt off the door opened.
“Hey Nathan.” He said.
“Not Nathan, Mr. Slab.” said a voice.
Throwing his shirt into the closet he turned towards the professor, “Hello Professor BoulderFist.”
The professor frowned at the careless Edward, “Something isn’t right about your aura, Mr. Slab. What has Professor Davion done to you?” Mr. BoulderFist put his hands on his hips and deepened the frown.
Edward put his hands on his hips mimicking the man, “Vincent has done none of the sort.”
“Then Nathan. Where is that child? It’s past curfew!”
Edward shrugged but he knew and thought, “At Zach and Kurt’s place discussing a pressing matter.”
“He is currently taking his turn at Showers. He was finishing homework so he missed it.” A lie.
The man huffed in exasperation before saying, “I will find him. Now. Past curfew. Sleep!”
As the professor left Edward grumbled, “What I was doing before you butt in.”
“I heard that Slab!”

Kurt sighed as Nathan walked inside, “We saw you. The group knows. Don’t bother keeping it a secret anymore.” Zach nodded.
Nathan grimaced, “When we were..?”
The duo nodded in unison, “Yes.”
Nathan then fell onto the couch with a soft thud, “Why..?”
As he finished his sentence a knock sounded then a mans voice, “Nathan! I know you’re in there!” Kurt and Zachs’ heads snapped to the door
“Mr. BoulderFist! Shit!” said Zach. He pushed Nathan up to answer the door.
Nathan flipped Zach off then opened the door gulping, “Yes Mr. BoulderFist.”
The professor straightened his tie and cleared his throat, “I’ll let you off with a warning. There is no clock in here able to be read by ender humans.”
Nathan blinked the purple from his eyes, “I can and would go full enderman but I am refraining. Professor.” Nathan pushed past leaving a befuddled group of three.
“He just…” said Mr. BoulderFist.
“Yeah. He did.” said Kurt.
Mr. BoulderFist turned on his heel and walked off in a particularly bad mood.

Rain pittered on the window waking the students at 5 o’clock. Alex shook Dan awake groggily, “Dan. Dan. Daniel Beef!” He shouted as Dan spazzed and fell off his bed.
Alex giggled. Dan poked his head out, “What the hell man…” He threw a pillow at Alex making it’s mark.
“Don’t wake me up unless it’s urgent.” Dan rolled over and looked at the clock.
“May as well get an early start.” said Alexs who dove into the closet and emerged in a uniform.
“Join me?” He asked.
Dan smiled and stood, “Nothing better to do. Woke me up at the buttcrack of dawn.”

Edward opened his eyes to look into Professor Davions bright blue ones. “Hi Edward!”
Edward rolled Vincent off and chuckled as he rubbed his eyes, “Need something Vincent?” He asked.
“Your roommate does.” Vincent gestured to where Nathan was sleeping and making out with his pillow.
Edward sighed and fluffed his white hair, “That thing. For me it was a one night stand. For him it seems he won’t hurt me when we get to The Dome.”
“That’s only a week from now, Edward. Get him out of this mindstate so he can help bring Mindcrack Magic the gold once more.” Vincent said pointing at Nathan who was getting more graphic.
“Now wake him up and get him training. I’ll excuse you and your team from classes until The Dome.”
Edward nodded and Vincent walked out of the room. He walked next to Nathan and stared down at him. “So relaxed… I might have to leave him. After some pictures.” He brought his camera over and snapped some pictures of Nathan as he laughed.
Finally he put the camera away and shook Nathan, “Hey man. Wake up. The Dome training grounds await.”
“Where’re Zach and Kurt and Dr. M?” He questioned. “Sleeping.”
Nathan looked out the window at the rain, “The Dome can be in any type of weather. Rain, snow. We need the endurance. Let’s get a move on!”
Nathan stood up and his clothes morphed into his uniform. “I’ll get Kurt and Zach while you get the doctor?”
Edward nodded and with his cape swirling around him he vanished. “Fancy exit, Edward.”

Kurt and Zach were waiting outside their dorm when Nathan ran up, “Vincent came and told us. Edward is getting the doctor I assume.”
Nathan nodded and they made their way off into the grounds.

The rain had muddied the grounds enough to make sloshing and slurping sounds with every step, “Edward said learn endurance. This is enough.” Make their way to the five posts they noticed Edward and Dr. M coming up.
“Guys! Get your posts!” Kurt called.
They both climbed up their poles and stood in ready position. “We going all out?” Zach asked.
“Yes.” said Dr. M whose hands were charged with purple light that was sparking and fizzing.
Kurt bared his fangs and claws as his true form took over. Zach was in his inner state of mind that let him help Kurt keep his wolven morph. Edward’s cape swirled around him as winds flew around his body. His red eye pierced the darkness and his white hair was turning into a bright light. Nathan’s eyes turned purple and his skin turned black as his true form took over.
The doctor was the first to move and overcame the group with the natural ambience of the pouring rain they were stirring up. Edward blocked the rain and sent it towards Kurt who slashed it into small droplets. Zach’s eyes went bright red as he felt Kurt start becoming more wolven.
Zach was next to do something and he summoned up a ring of fire before sending small bursts at the other men. Nathan teetered on his heel before regaining his balance and assuming position on the post. Kurt snuffed out the flames on his fur before howling and the rain increasing and extinguishing Zachs fire.
Edward and the doctor took advantage and shot fistfuls of water and wind at the other men and knocked them all off the poles. They then faced each other as magic radiated from their bodies.
“Doctor.” Edward pressed a wave of air against the other mans shield of purple sparks.
“Disciple.” Dr. M used a complex gesture and lightning flew from his fingertips and grazed Edwards cheek.
Edward retaliated and sent all his energy into the air around and made a shockwave that burst the other man of his post leaving Edward to steam.
“Edward beat Dr. M…” said Kurt who was reverting to his human morph.
Edward looked at his friends who were staring up at him. “Yes. Yes I defeated the Doctor…” He panted.
He slowly floated off the pole and landed squarely on the ground then looked at his friends. “You defeated our team captain…”
“Edward. As team captain of Mindcrack Magic Dome Team I pass on my title to my victor.” Dr. M waved a hand over Edwards head and a shower of gold sparks rained down and over Edward. His hair was shining brighter and his cape was changing colors.
“Thank you Doctor…” Edward said bowing.
“Your welcome, Edward…”
