Chapter 4! Posting it now, for a reason. :D Also... I am so sorry about the cliffhanger. I ended it there on purpose.
Suddenly, the click of pressure plates was heard. Etho jumped up, grabbing onto a small hole on the wall, as the floor fell out beneath them. Etho was the only one left who hadn’t fallen. He hung for a moment, supporting his body weight with a single hand. Then his hand slipped, and he fell as well.
They thudded into the hard ground. Paul had hit the ground first, as the ground had fallen out from under him first. He was unconscious, a large bump on his head being the only explanation. The others had fared better, though Doc had a giant headache. They looked around, as Etho hit the ground beside them.
They were in a bedrock and iron bar cell. There was a single iron door, which they could break, but the groaning of zombies warned them off. Through the iron bars, they could see a group of monsters, seemingly guarding the cells. Suddenly, an enderman teleported in and spoke in a low, growling voice to the Mindcrackers.
“You have been captured entering the Queen’s fortress. You would be sentenced to death, but the Queen has interest in you. So, you will come with me. You will be taken to her interrogation rooms. If you try to kill the Queen, you will die.” It stated, grabbing onto Guude and Vechs. Those two grabbed two others, and the enderman teleported when they were all linked.
They were in a large, spacious room. It seemed to be a miniature version of the End Island. And, standing in front of them, was the Queen herself. She seemed to be a slightly smaller than the first dragon they had slain, but she looked more intelligent, somehow. She glared at the six.
“What are you doing, invading my castle?” She asked, her voice quiet for a beast her size. They looked between themselves nervously, and gulped. Guude stepped forward.
“Well, guy, we came up here because we wanted to find where these dang winds were coming from!” He stated, acting much less nervous than he felt. She stared at Guude.
“The winds? Are you talking about the winds I send to freeze this world into my normal kingdom?” She asked, frowning. Guude nodded. She looked off for a second, thoughtfully. She turned back, after only a moment.
“When did you slay your first dragon?” She frowned at the green-shirted man. Guude shrugged.
“I don’t know! But… I have slain at least two. Do you mean here, on Mindcrack?” He asked. The Queen gave a shrug, as much as a creature her size could.
“How would I know? But, that would explain why you could feel the winds. Only those who have fought one of my kind could feel that wind, and likely only in this world. Either that, or they have supernatural senses.” She turned to Etho, and frowned. Etho stepped back, unconsciously.
“How odd… There is something different about you… Something about you is enhanced.” She muttered, observing Etho. Etho pointed at his redstone eye. She made an noise of understanding.
“So, you are enhanced by one of the rocks of this dimension, redstone.” She stated, then she whipped her head around, looking for something.
“I sense another! Where is this other supernatural? But… It feels oddly familiar…” She said, quietly. Suddenly, Vechs connected the dots. Another supernatural, feeling familiar? It had to be Nebris! He had to distract the Queen, to let Nebris sneak up unnoticed. He stepped forwards and cleared his throat.
