1000 Fics!

mindcracklove This seemed to pass people's notice but I do believe it's a milestone - there are now over 1000 fics posted to the salad that are tagged correctly.
I remember celebrating salad's 100th member and times when there were only a few hundred salad fics tagged and posted and wow salad has grown. Despite this, we still tend to be a pretty tight-knit community which is quite the feat compared to the abstract and apathetic lack of care and community found in other fandoms. All new members are welcomed here regardless of writing experience and skill, age, location, and level of interest in the community and I'm very glad to say I've made many friends here that are very dear to me and I know I'm not the only one.
We've had our troubles and by far, we're not perfect, but we get by and this place is still a very amazing place. And it's actually quite astounding to see this little corner of the mindcrack fandom grow into the main fanfiction hub for the fandom. What? How many mindcrack fics are on FF.net? 1? 2? And only a select few have both AO3 accounts and are diligent enough to regularly post there. But most importantly, this place is a community of friends all brought together by a common interest before it is a fanfiction archive and well, here's to another 1000 fics (hopefully nebtho smut) and a long and prosperous future for salad and those within.
