This is a Fic I wrote. I dunno what inspired me. But yeah, the format may or may not be derpy. I'm making do with mobile. I hope you enjoy!!
As Teo looked over his balcony, he marveled at the amazing spectrum of colors that invaded his crystal blue-green eyes. The Seattle lights always took his breath away, his breathing slowing down, his bare chest rising up and down. Then he looked up to see the Space Needle, one of the only buildings higher than his. He smiled at that thought “one of the only buildings better than his”. The red’s and white reflected off of his pupils, making the pictures his sister takes come out as him looking evil. His eyes looked like small stars against the black night behind him. His face lit up as another flash extruded from her slightly expensive camera. Now that they were older, and he was more developed, she almost found him attractive, but because they always had had a sibling-like relationship, she didn’t feel anything for him.
“How has it been, up here in Seattle?” Red asked breaking the silence that had formed between them, her camera clicks keep going. “I never see you down in Minnesota anymore”
“I’ve been too busy up here Red” Teo said, his old habits reverting to what he used to call her, back in the days of Salad “You know what life is like being a computer programmer. Working pretty much 24/7, but you know? I’m doing what I love” he said, his eyes zoning out and looking up toward the Microsoft building, where he had landed himself a job just a year earlier. He had moved into the lofty apartment just last month, not knowing if he was making the right choice. He had asked his girlfriend to move in with him, although they had only known each other for about a month.
“So, I hear you have a girlfriend” She said, as if reading Teo’s mind, she had a wide smile on her face, as she could see, he really was happy with this girl. “Is your sister going to be able to meet her? Before you ask her to marry you” She asked jokingly, the words sliding off her tongue smoothly. Teo had always enjoyed the sound of his sister’s voice. It made him relax, almost to the point to where he wouldn’t pay attention to anything, and get lodged in his own world.
“Yeah” He said out of focus “She should be home in a few hours if you want to wait, I think we’re done with taking pictures, anyway” He said, as the large mahogany doors opened to reveal a stunning girl, who had almond eyes that glowed a mysterious green-brown. Teo walked up to her, smiling a huge grin, knowing he just had her from the moment he met her made this confrontation much more heartwarming. His arms automatically went around her waist and her arms around his neck, and they kissed romantically.
Red stood there, watching all this with a light mood, although when she saw their lips touch, she suddenly felt a pang of jealousy for Teo. She didn’t know why that ping happened, but it disappeared as soon as it had come. Red was deeply confused by this, but didn’t want to dwell on it, so she cleared her throat a few times.
“Oh sorry!” said Teo, clearly forgetting she was there “This is Gabriella” he said, holding one of her hands, his other hand presenting her to Red.
“But you can call me Gabby!” she said blushing, reaching a soft hand out to Red. “So did you guys finished with all the picture taking?” she asked, her soft voice tickling Red’s ear. Those small pangs of jealousy invading her chest again as she heard Gabby’s voice invading her ears.
“Alright Gabby, I’m Red” She said nonchalantly, as she tried to fake a smile. “But I think I’ll have to be going, I’m late for dinner and things with a friend of mine that lives up here”
“Is it Seth?” Teo asks, as if reading his sisters mind. But little did she know, he was planning on taking Gabby and himself to the same dinner.
“Yeah! How’d you know?” Red asked genuinely flabbergasted, wondering how he had read her mind, as he always seemed to.
“We got invited to the same dinner, do you know who’s all going?” Teo asked, smiling at Gabby as he said this.
“No I don’t, but I hear there’s going to be some… excitement going on there” Said Red, winking at Teo. That’s when Teo had realized she had finally accomplished the dream she had always wanted. To be ranked among the mindcracker as ‘ascended Fangirl’
As they arrived at the party, they saw that it was in full bloom, having only started about half an hour earlier, they really didn’t miss much. There were some that were stumbling around drunk, and there were some that were dancing. As they arrived they all recognized the small trio that had joined, even Gabriella, seeing as Teo was famous among them. The people enjoying immediately started cheering, and the trio separated, leaving Gabby and Teo alone, while Red was immediately surrounded by her favorite group of Mindcrackers: Zisteau, Pak, and Vechs. Including many more, but she didn’t really recognize them in the excitement.
“How are you doing?!” Seth had to pretty much scream over the noise, as he was trying to talk to the girl in the Red and Yellow sweatshirt.
“I’m great!” She yelled back, blushing a bit as he came closer and gave her a hug. He, after all, hadn’t seen her for a while, and he missed her. She had missed him as well, and immediately took his hand and led him to a quieter spot….
As Gabby danced against Teo, her hips grinding against his, her hands going around his neck, his arms going to her hips, she felt a new sensation take her over, and the butterflies in her heart almost started to hurt. She didn’t know how she knew all these people surrounding her, and the love of her life, but she knew she could do anything around them, and they would only laugh. She knew with such an intense certainty that this was what she wanted; she didn’t want this time to end. Gabby felt the world melt around her and Teo, the images around her becoming blurred, except when she saw Teo’s hands, or his handsome face smiling down at her. The feeling of his body against her back intensified incredulously as she listened to the bass thumping against the floor, and the sounds vibrating everyone’s body. And for the first time in a while, Gabby felt genuinely good.
Red didn’t feel as good, as a drunk Seth stumbled after her, an obvious idea forming in his head, which Red didn’t want, or need at this point. She was sure if she was drunk enough, she’d be fine, but right now Teo and Gabby were on her mind. And it bothered her massively. She couldn’t get past the feeling that she felt when she was shaking that… bitches hand. Those damn pangs of jealousy invading her stomach, and her head. Small tears starting to form around her eyes, and Seth noticing as he watched her face immediately sobered up and grew serious. “What’s wrong RedYellow?” he asked, concern plaguing his always somber features.
“I dunno” She said putting her face in her hands “I just don’t think anything good will come out of Teo and Gabby” she said, tears making her hands wet. “I had a strange feeling when I met her, and I still don’t know what it is, it was just a dark… evil feeling clouding that room” Red vented, not caring if Seth was listening.
“I thought it was Teo” He whispered, his eyes looking down.
