Wow, I've got so much story to post. This will be like 12, 13 chapters. Once more, as much feedback as possible! P.S. For a later part in the story, I just want to know. What do people think of putting yourself in there?
"Do any of you have ANY ideas of how to defeat this army?" Guude queried, out of ideas.
"Could we burn 'em?" Bdubs asked, not taxing his brain for an answer.
"Bdubs, that's not going to work. In case you didn't notice, they weren't burning while we were fighting them, genius. They seem to be impervious to sunlight." Vechs stated, wondering how Bdubs hadn't noticed.
"Oh, right. Well, how about... er..." Bdubs murmured, quite at a loss.
"Hey, Vechs. How about you set up some of your traps, like in your maps, for the mobs? I know they've worked on me before." Etho sighed, still wanting to get revenge on Vechs for that. But now probably wasn't the best time for that.
"Sure. Etho, could you help me with tha-" He was about to finish, when a bat flew into the building.
"OOOH!" Vechs gave a little squeal of delight, and lost track of the entire conversation. Guude laughed, while Etho hung his head and sighed.
"Vechs, you never change, do you?" Etho commented, tempted to kill the bat. The bat flew away and Vechs looked sheepishly around.
"Um, you were saying, Etho?" Vechs asked, having forgotten the entire conversation. Guude and Bdubs laughed, while Etho hit himself in the face.
"Guude! They're coming!" Kurt yelled, Wolfie by his side. The Mindcrackers were prepared for battle once more. The archers were on the Town Hall's roof. Traps were scattered around the town. Nebris and Bethilda were flying around, ready to fight. If they were forced to retreat, they would go back into the Season 3 map and make a stand there.
"OldMan, sir! The mobs seem to have not noticed us!" The Jimmy yelled.
"Quiet, Jimmy. They will notice us if you yell like that." Rob replied, distracted. He had been following an army of monsters for days. He had no idea where they were going, or why they were here, but they might provide a way to find civilisation. He motioned for the Jimmies to follow, and walked on.
"Fire!" Etho yelled, as the zombies attacked. The archers had chosen their targets well. Pause looked around. The ghasts were missing. He and Etho were detailed to give ghasts priority for shooting, but none were nearby. He had no idea where they had gone. He nocked an arrow to the string, as an explosion sounded behind him. He turned, and cursed. The ghasts had silently moved up behind them, and close to a hundred fireballs were coming towards them. He started shooting like a madman, but he didn't have enough time to shoot them all.
An arrow thudded into the floor, beneath Mhykol. He jumped back, straight into a creeper. He tried to turn, and kill it, but he missed. It exploded, sending him flying straight into the middle of enemy lines. He hit his head on a zombie in iron armour, and wondered why night was falling so quickly. Then he felt nothing.
"Mhykol!" Avidya yelled, seeing him fly. Quickly, in anger, he dispatched the zombie he was fighting. A zombie took a swing at him, but he rolled under it and stabbed into it's side. He drank a speed potion and ran to Mhykol's side.
"Come and get him, if you dare!" Avidya taunted the zombies, ready to swing at any that came in reach. One came to close and Avidya swung at it. He was so angry, he managed to chop through iron armour with a single cut. The zombie stopped, and looked down at the stump where it's arm used to be. It then disintegrated into a pile of ash. Avidya took Mhykol's arm in one hand, and started stabbing left and right. Finally, after what seemed like days, he got out of the midst of the enemy's army.
Guude rolled forwards, parried an zombie sword, grabbed it's arm and pulled it forward, stabbing it in the back. He was tired from all the fighting that they had been doing. His blows were faltering, and the zombies seemed to never end. A skeleton shot him in the back, and he hardly noticed. A zombie tried to stab him, but he disarmed it, and cut off it's head. Nearby, he could see that the others were slowing down too. Only Nebris and Bethilda weren't tired. Exhausted, he signaled to retreat.
Pause and Etho had finally managed to take out the ghasts, but at high cost. The Town Hall was half-destroyed, they were running low on armour durability, and some of the archers were running low on arrows. Then he saw Guude signalling the retreat. Pause took out a flame bow, and shot a pile of Tnt Seth had placed down. This explosion was the signal for everyone to head to the escape portal. This also triggered some traps Vechs had set up.
Suddenly, the ground in front of the Town Hall disappeared, blown up by Tnt. A giant chasm opened up and swallowed hundreds of zombies down into it. They fell straight down into a water flow that took them to a hole in the bedrock, down to the void. The hole had been created by new technologies, made by the Mindcrackers.
"Finally! We escaped! How long do you think we have, Guude?" Etho asked.
"I don't know. I'd think a day or two, at most." Guude replied, exhausted beyond belief. Etho nodded, and placed down a few beds for sleep. Guude fell into the bed, and slept instantly.
