That's okay. Here, have some semi-live reactions to my listening to this.

* Pause integrating the Team B storyline, oh my goodness. Complimentary block of diamond ahahhahaha.

* ...I want Beef's reaction to Pause saying the way he and Pause met was boring/not worth talking about on video.
* Oh god Millbee on this tangent and the deep Odin voice oh god oh god feeeeeeeeeeeeeeels...
* and then suddenly "have you got torches?" bahahahhahahahhaa
* we are all freakin' nerds and I am proud of that and proud of them for saying so
* wow, they got "together" very, very quickly! That explains a lot about why Pause is so adamant about Millbee being on the server and interacting with him over anyone else. I kind of feel bad for Pause's other "boyfriends" though. :(
* I was never into the streaming community before Mindcrack, but it's really kind of a big deal, isn't it? And Millbee definitely strikes me as a better streamer than LPer - it's more reaction time and chat interaction, which means less editing and easier commentary but also, well, needs quick reflexes. It makes a lot of sense that they bonded over streaming.
* ahahhahaha so much CTM map rage. Really, no one makes them like Vechs and three_two. (Maybe Amlup's will also be decent, but we'll see...)
* I would love to do a compare/contrast between OOG Saint's Row and Pausebee Saint's Row. Too bad twitch archives are so terrible!
* OOH NEW CO-OP SERIES OH GOD SO EXCITED. And I thought Borderlands was really cool when it first came out, but I never get into FPS games for long; should be interesting to see their take on it.

Oh this episode was SO enjoyable. :3 :3 Can't wait for Borderlands!

Pretty much all that for me too. XD Oh god, these boys. They're sort of like OOG in a way, just how they have the same sense of humour as each other and the instant clicking.

I do feel kinda bad for Beef as well though. :/ Of course, I now have a plot bunny about him being the rebound fling where they got rather more fond of each other than they expected to. *sigh*

Haven't had a chance to watch the episodes yet, but it does make me feel bad for Beef. I doubt Beef is really upset, but as a character, I feel like Beef would think he's okay with this (after all, Millbee was there first, right?), but still, ow. Especially because although Beef got to invite on his buddy, Anders is not shippy at all. He'll crack the occasional joke, but I even get the impression that Anders might be a little homophobic. (Of the "I don't care what you huys do, just don't hit on me" type.)

Now that I've watched I've gotta agree on the "Beef was a rebound that Pause got more attached to than expected." mindcrack_love didn't even mention Millbee going "This is why we broke up the first time" after Pause started mini-raging and saying he didn't want to play Borderlands anymore with Millbee.

I do think Beef and Pause have genuine affection for each other, but sometimes it feels it's circumstantial (because they were on the server together and Millbee wasn't). Pause and Millbee seem much more on the same wavelength--they both cuss and drink, for instance, and while both can build, neither are really "builders." Whereas Beef is very mild, rarely swears/rages, doesn't drink, and is definitely a "builder" type. Opposites do attract, and I think Beef is a great contrast to Pause and their differences are part of what makes them enjoyable to watch together, but in terms of "BFF/boyfriend" potential... I dunno.

Millbee seems the more logical one for being so similar to Pause, but Beef seems like he'd be the "healthy" one to curb Pause's wild side. Like, Millbee is the "met at a club and became drink/fuckbuddies" and Beef is the guy you settle down and raise a family with...

Possibly! It's a nice head to be in...

But it all makes me sad, because I think Pause is the type to be like "Well, what's the problem? I go out drinking with Millbee, but come home to Beef at night" and I think Millbee is okay with this, but I don't think Beef is. But Beef is too nice to say anything that would upset Pause (especially because he knows Pause wants things that Beef can't give him), but that it nevertheless makes him sad that Pause is out drinking and fucking around at night instead of, I don't know, watching Top Gear on the couch with Beef.

I have feels, but I don't know how to turn them into a fic that is more than just Beef feeling miserably alone at home because his boyfriend is cheating on him (with permission) and also feeling guilty that he's miserable. The solutions are 1.) Pause and Millbee "corrupt" Beef into their lifestyle, or 2.) Beef "cures" Pause of his lifestyle, and both options are gross because there's nothing wrong with either of them and I hate stories that change people like that to fit their interpretation of right or wrong or whatever. So that leaves me with the third option of "Beef and Pause aren't really that compatible and Pause should be with Millbee and Beef with someone else." but there's no one else really compatible with Beef (on the server, anyway), and and and. DAMMIT. I dunno how to express my feels.

Clearly I need to just ship Beef/Etho.

Yeah, I can't think of a good way to resolve it either.

I quite like Beef/Baj for some reason. They'd definitely be on the couch watching Top Gear at least. :p

I don't see Baj as especially ... well, queer, I guess? He just doesn't seem to do all the shippy innuendo the others do. But I can definitely see him coming over to watch Top Gear to keep "I'm really not sad, I swear"!Beef company while Pause is off pub crawling with Millbee.

Beef and Etho don't interact much, and Etho seems too dastardly or something to really settle down the way Beef seems to want. Baj is more suitable in that regard, but... well it's weird. I think Beef likes Pause BECAUSE Pause is so different. He has that "spark" that challenges Beef and gets him places he would never ever go on his own and keeps things interesting. Beef wants to sit at home watching Top Gear, but he also wants to do the occasional crazy thing. Moth to the flame, I think. But it's like he wants to do it once a month whereas Pause wants to do it every weekend and a few weeknights too, if he's in the mood...

I had to leave *some* secrets for you to discover when you watch the video. :P

I definitely agree with all of the above, which is why I'm so interested to see and hear Beef's side of things. Why is he attracted to someone so different from him? How does he handle Pause's rage so well? Does he think Millbee can fit between them, and if so how?

Welp, this completely Jossed that thing I was writing. Maybe my next attempt at Pause/Beef with Millbee will not get ruined by the boys being incredibly awesome within the week that I start writing it? Please guys? Pretty please?

Also, I love Pause/Millbee now. I have been borderline on loving them because Pause/Beef is just incredible, but even as a poly person myself in real life, I don't see a triad working out for the three of them. Beef is, after all, a jealous lover :P

I have a feeling this upcoming Borderlands co-op LP is really going to color how I feel about Pausebee.

Oh, all right. I'll try to finish it eventually XD it contains serious!Millbee and confused!Beef and the concept that Millbee and Pause tried being together but it didn't work out because of lack of spark, which even in-denial-me can see clearly is just not true in this video and in the prank from last week. Also contains Millbee being irritated at Pause for forcing Beef to murder all the sheep. I'll try to bring it to a stopping point so I can post it, just for you :P
