Question for you guys

So I just got ahold of Pokemon Black 2 today and I was considering starting it just now (despite being in the middle of taking on the 8th gym in Pokemon Black 1). I know everything that happens in the first game, it's not like I'm missing anything out storyline wise.

Now, I know you're wondering what this has to do with you. Well, I was considering naming all the pokemon after our favourite Mindcrackers, and doing a Nuzlocke challenge, and as I considered this, I wondered if you guys would like to get updates on how its going. If you don't know what a Nuzlocke challenge is, it's where you play through pokemon with the following rules: 1. If a pokemon faints, it's dead and you can't use it, meaning you have to box it or release it. 2. You can only catch one pokemon per route/town.

Since I'd be playing life or death with cute critters named after our favourite guys, I thought I'd at least offer to share little updates now and then, let you know who kicked butt, who died unexpectedly, and who smacked themselves in the face in confusion.

Yay or nay? Is this even really allowed? Probably should have asked that first...

I for one would totally be up for this. It's a little different than, say, the OOG Sims skins published earlier, but it's kind of a form of fanwork all the same.

Although I will warn you that the plot is radically different than Black/White - it's new main characters two years later, almost like Gold/Silver in relationship to Red/Blue.

Yeah, I figured, I know nothing about the plot, aside from depending on what you've done in the first game and if you get the two to link up, different stuff apparently happens in the second game. So that would be interesting.

And I know exactly who my starter will be. It's fairly easy to pick really, considering.

(I will admit to once making Kurt and Z in the Sims 3 and messing around for a few hours. I admit to giggling madly when Kurt was the one to fight a fire in the house while Zisteau panicked along with the fireman.)

I kinda wish I knew more about Pokemon to have any idea what's going on. How many names do you need?

Well I'll be trying to match them up to the pokemon I catch that fits them best. If all else fails, I can just rename a few I'm not using in order to reuse a few names. If all else fails, I reuse a few names from the dead ones, they can be zombies XD

(And yeah, that was just too perfect. I'd gotten Kurt to call the fire folks to come see to it and I'd ordered Zisteau to put out the fire. Next thing I know, Zisteau's flailing and panicking while Kurt's saving the day.)

This sounds like fun! I think people would really enjoy reading about it. (I'm actually avoiding Black and White 2 spoilers, because I have yet to get my hands on the game, so if you do a Nuzlocke challenge, might you perhaps put the spoilers for the plot under a cut?)

Oh I totally would, don't worry :3 I'd be throwing in a few images along the way to show which pokemon I'd be catching so people don't have to go look up the names on google every time to see what they look like so there's definitely going to be a cut. Separate cuts for plot I might do or I might just avoid mentioning plot and make up my own for the PokeCrackers XD
