Now that I've got designated pens for everyone, I need to sort out the mine cart system. I've been caving in the meantime looking for gold for powered rails, and even took a short trip up to the village in Guude Country where there was some gold in the blacksmith's. I still don't have very much, but I can get by. It looks like the tricky part of this is going to be the intersections if the rails in the aisles. I attempt some science here, but it doesn't look like a four way intersection is going to work. I'll probably settle for scraping by in the meantime manually reorganizing the rails whenever I need someone.

I grabbed a few people from the surplus and put them in the spare pen in the far corner for testing purposes. I want to see my mine cart trick work on non important test subjects before I go using it officially. I'll even breed the Arkases for good measure.

It seemed to work well enough. I don't have much reason to do anything with Arkas right now, so I just murder him in the cart. He appeared to drop a stick. How does that one make sense?

Well, my proof of concept was sufficiently proven to my satisfaction, so it's time to breed people. Wheat for everyone!

And now with the population of Mindcrackers being essentially unlimited, I no longer have use for these spares. I think it's time for some murder. BWAHAHA.

A lot of them failed to drop anything, and when they did it would often pop into my inventory before I could get a good look at it. Here I've just slain SBK, and he dropped a cookie, which you can see in my hotbar.

BANE OF ARTHRO-MC!

Here's a special drop I wasn't aware of. I had just killed BdoubleO, and he drops stone swords. Interesting, but mildly disappointing. I had hoped for a jukebox, not least of all for the innuendo bonus when combined with Guude's golden record.

Another drop that's new to me. Pyrao drops flint and steel. It's funny, because fire.

The mosh pit is so empty now... It suddenly feels so lonely, so much so that I almost consider bringing one of each to hang out here so it'll feel like old times again. But I don't. My plan is to build new things in this area for each of the Mindcrackers, so I expect I'll eventually reclaim this space for that, but I couldn't bring myself to disassemble it just yet.

I make a chest to store all the drops I've gathered so far, including the unintentional ones from earlier. I feel like I should have been more "official" about this instead of haphazardly running around slaughtering everyone in sight, but I needed to do something with the extras. I'm already not sure I remember who dropped the netherrack. Adlington?

Ahh well. We'll figure it out later. Hey, let's breed the guys again! That was fun, right? Though I'm finding it rather strange the way the newly bred one appears in the same space as the parent, so we end up with terrifying sights like this. Their behavior in here is a little strange as well. They don't jump around like derps like they normally do. They don't even move around at all, just turn in place. I guess the pens are too small for them to have anywhere to move to. What a strange mod this is to play with.

That's all for now, though next time I'm thinking we'll finally get to building something cool.

Yeah, this mod is rather strange at times. It was made before Arkas released videos, which may explain a lot about his disappointing drop. (Honestly, given his relationship with chickens under the arena village, I would have him drop eggs myself.) SBK was working on a number of improvements a while back, but that was during 1.3, and we're now on the cusp of 1.4 territory, so who knows?
