Etho's POV
Pause, Beef, and I had decided to go searching for a cave in the middle of the night. Honestly not our best idea cause now we were all low on health and potions to heal ourselves with, plus on top of that there's still no sign of day. Pause has managed to find us some shelter in the side of a mountain so we can catch our breath.
He dug a 2x2 space and we blocked the entrance where the mobs were making eerie sounds. All that could be heard besides that was our frantic breathing, fighting was so much harder with no regeneration. Pause and Beef were huddled together on one side of the space and I was leaning on the opposite side.
Looking at the way Beef held Pause so protectively I yearned for someone to hold me as well, I mean sure I had Nebris but it was an on and off thing really and we both know that we don't want a relationship together. I wanted someone that I could love and cherish and someone who could do the same for me. People sometimes said I was cold towards new people, maybe that's the reason.
"Hey Etho you ok there?" Beef asks.
"Yeah why?" I reply.
"You had a weird look and you weren't talking, are you sure you're fine?"
"Yes I'm fine Pause, stop worrying about me. Worry about your boyfriend over there." Pause looks at me astonished at the fierceness in my voice. Usually I'm not one to raise my voice, I was like a peacekeeper between these two. Rarely had I lashed out at them or anyone really.
They stare at me incredulously for the remaining time we spent in that small space. Once we had fought our way through the mobs and had made it back home instead of finding a cave like we originally planned, Beef and Pause left to go back to Pause's base. I took off all the heavy armor and dumped all the stuff on me in a random chest, I'd sort through it later. Right now I needed to think without a sword in my hand.
Making my way towards the bed I managed to not trip over the redstone items strewn around messily. Once I'd gotten comfy on the bed I started to think about earlier. I had known long ago inside that I wanted a relationship, and when I saw the intimate position Beef and Pause were in with Pause almost in Beef's lap I had just snapped.
Throughout this thinking I hadn't heard the pairs of footsteps in my base like I usually would if I was on guard. So imagine my shock when two bodies slipped into my bed. I had literally squealed, and no before you ask, it was not girly.
"What has your attention?" Guude asks.
"Huh?" I reply intelligently noticing how they were practically sandwiching me between them. It doesn't help that this bed was not made for three.
"Well usually you can hear us or anyone come in even if they're tiptoeing, but this time you didn't even notice." Bdub says.
"Nothing. Nothing has my attention, I'm just tired from the exploring Team Canada did earlier today." I'm not usually a good liar, but that one just came naturally. They don't look like they fully believe me, but will let it slide for now.
"Why are you two here?" I asked the question that's been in the air.
"We just came to say hi, is that not allowed now?" Guude teases playfully.
"Yeah you can but is squishing me really necessary?" I was much smaller than the two of them and it was kind of getting hard to breathe.
"Yes it was." Bdub retorts. This cuddling brings me back to the situation earlier, and Guude suddenly wraps his arms around me and gives me a big hug.
"What was that for?"
"You looked like you needed one." That made me smile.
Hi?... Oh god this is so awkward... You can do this... If you can't already tell I'm kind of an awkward person and I usually like to sit and write rather than socialize. I'm new, and I admit I've been lurking around for quite a while. I've tried to make an account so many times but it didn't work and finally someone helped me out, so thank you! I can't remember their username right now but they know who they are! So thank you so much!
This was originally meant to be a Team Canada thing but of course my brain had different thoughts and incorporated OOGE in there, but it turned out well so I guess it's fine! If there's any mistakes in this feel free to correct me, oh also if I should be doing anything else different also correct me. I won't get mad! Also I'm 99% sure I did something wrong... :3
