I'm at it again! After a long break, I'm ready to continue this series and have all kinds of fun with my captured minions that I spent so long finding. You could think of this as "season 2" of the Mod Adventures-- the first season was all about exploration and collecting, but now that that part's done, this season will be more about building and murdering. I have some fun ideas, so let's get started!

The first thing I'm going to need to do is sort out the mess I made. I put everyone together in my epic mosh pit so we could have awesome celebration parties together, but now it's time to divide everyone up by type. I'll be using mine carts to pick them out one at a time to be led to their individual cells. I have this set up so I can just push the mine cart in, and some power rails send it back out with my next victim. They can't get through the fence otherwise, and they won't take suffocation damage when coming through in the mine cart.

...Well, it's nice to know this part works, but I suppose it would have been helpful to have a place to put them next. Let's work on that.

There's a cave under a nearby hill that I've started to dig open up into this space here. This is where I'll be keeping a breeding pair of every type, and I want it set up so that whenever I want someone, I can use a mine cart to grab one of whoever I wanted and be on my way. And it's hidden underground so I don't have to hear their pitiful cries for being contained like animals. It's kind of the grisly behind the scenes stuff, but it's to ensure I always have an easy supply of people so I can do all the other things I want to do.

Here's kind of how it will look. With just the space I cleared out, each pen is fairly small, but hopefully I can make it work. I used fences to give them a little more space, and also because it's a transparent block. I quickly realize that any solid block at head level is not going to work to my favor, especially when there's mine carts involved that will push them into said blocks. I also found the mine carts troublesome in that once I had them in, I couldn't get them out. Normally you could right click the cart to enter yourself, pushing its previous occupant out, but these guys' hitboxes are still enormous and completely cover up the hitbox of the mine cart. Any attempt to click or destroy the mine cart results in hitting the guy inside instead. Just in the process of figuring this out, there have been at least three instances of involuntary manslaughter. Well, that's why I bred them beforehand. As long as I still have two of each, I no longer mind if they die.

Eventually I figure out a method of getting them out without killing them. You have to get an angle from below and click on the bottom edge of the mine cart. It's awkward and takes some getting used to, but at least it means I can still use mine carts in my plans. And now I can start filling in the pens.

It's coming along. My system right now is pretty slow and finicky, but as long as it gets the job done, I don't mind.

Eventually my mine cart selection starts picking up duplicates after I already have two in their designated pen. I could just kill them now, but I decide not yet. Instead I repurpose a dip in the ground to be a temporary "duplicate box" so I don't have to keep picking them up.

Finally, that's all of them. 23 pens occupied with two of each guy. Well, almost.

Just Defy was one of the casualties when I was figuring things out, and it looks like he never got bred during the orgy, because there's only one left. Fortunately, I know a place not too far away where there are tons of him. Guess I have to set out on another little adventure after all.

I run across the Team Justis pairing I passed while bringing the last Anderz back. I feel a little bad splitting them up, but it has to be done.

You know, dude, I'm really supposed to be done with this part of my adventures, and you're not even on the server anymore, so what's up with this making me run errands thing?

In any case, I get him back, and the whole journey didn't even take that long. So at least that's done.

I also return everyone in the duplicate box back to the normal pit. I guess you could see how many people actually got bred during last episode's party. Some got bred more than once, but a lot of them not at all. And I'm still not quite ready to go axe crazy on them to collect their drops. I want to be sure to work out the technical kinks of how my breeding system will work before I do that. And maybe these spares can be my guinea pigs.

I like the fence-doorways for minecart access. Clever. :)

It is. I can't imagine how much work it must be to get all these things going in the right directions.
