2 Years of Mindcrack!

Guude has released an hour long episode dedicated to the past two years of Mindcrack. Let's celebrate by discussing our top moment from the Mindcrack server, be it one top moment over all or one top moment per person you watch, your choice!

My top moments are tied, the first being the first time I really heard Guude laugh which was when Pause pulled the prank on him where he filled the Ark to the brim with chickens and the second I think was probably seeing Zisteau get onto the server. Not particularly exciting but I'd been watching him as well as a few Mindcrackers so it really was a nice surprise to see him on the server. I can remember doing a double take and being very happy.

Man, it is so *weird* seeing footage from Minecraft Alpha. Beta too, but mostly Alpha. (I started playing sometime around Beta 1.3-ish, though I had friends who had Alpha, so I knew what Alpha was like but it's still disorienting and "not quite Minecraft" to me.)

I can't think of anything specific in terms of moments, but I always love interactions. The mushroom prank/origin of KotL is standing out for me right now for whatever reason, for example.

Yeah, everything's so different now compared to that, it's so strange.

Oh yeah, I remember that prank, the videos it spawned are always a riot to watch.

I started in Alpha and it's still weird seeing old footage. Explosions that actually went *BANG* instead of *pffft*. XD

I think today's Good Morning Mindcrack is definitely up there. :D

I have way too many favourite moments: Pause's sheep prank on Beef. Pig jousting. Single Malt dig a hole. Orange Woooooooool. The Death Games. Candyland. Beef and the bats.

All the things you named are excellent. I think one of my favorite MC on-server moments was him killing Etho on the Fourth of July, actually.

Oh, so many sheep XD Beef is adorable with those bats too. All those examples are wonderful <3

Beef is just one of those guys who is so adorable when he's excited I can't help but smile stupidly.

Well, my top moment of that hour-long special was when Guude visits Beef's place, makes fun of it, then says, "I love you, Beef." <3 So sweet. Ha.

As for a top moment, hard to say. As soon as I think of one, I think of several others that are equally amazing. Zisteau's Candy Land prank, or his prank on Pause's nether track, Team Nancy Drew finding the Pakratt furnace trap, the birth of KotL, Millbee's entire Matt Damon episode, Beef's transportation of villagers to his jungle island, various moments of the Death Games, especially including the unexpected Adlington kills Bdubs moment, the whole Trial...

EVERYTHING basically.

It was really cool seeing a sort of "then and now" perspective. A lot of those old clips are ones I've never seen before, and only the last few were ones I remember seeing since I had already started watching Guude

I couldn't possibly pick one top moment, from Guude or anyone else. I'm a little surprised he didn't show any of the golden record moments, but considering that's out of literally hundreds of episodes to choose from, maybe not. That said, the pranks are always a fun highlight. I may be partial to the Vining prank (both the setup and response) because it was one of the first Mindcrack episodes I saw that got me into the server. And of course the Shroom prank, because it was so huge and birthed KotL.

Guude's perspective of the Mushroom Cloud prank has to be up there for my favorite Mindcrack video ever. It starts out slow with Guude pretty much ignoring the prank in favor of talking about his topic of the day, but finally he goes up there, and Pause and Etho show up, and there are deaths, and misunderstandings, and the immortal "yes, they are that dumb!" and "I hate you Etho" and I just love every second of it.
