Fic: Pay attention

mindcrackloveSo short drabble, Vechs, and Kurt. Based it on my friend and I, for the most part.
He just needed to put this one last piece, and switch it all on and then he could start the launch. Just needed to concentrate and...Oh no. The feel of a gaze pierced the side of his head, alerting him to the once quiet monster that was now rising from whatever slumber they were in. No, he just needed a few more minutes and then it will be worth it. Come on, just need this......darn it.
"Kurt, Kurt.."
"...."
"Kurt! Hey, Kurt!"
"......"
"Kuuuurt! Pay attention to meeeee!" a soft sigh came from the teen, as his friend poked him insistently in the side, "Stop playing your game and play with me!"
"Hold on, let me...oof...Vechs..." in response to him, Vechs sat atop Kurt, squishing him a bit as he grinned smugly, "Vechs, what are you doing?"
"I'm sitting on top of you,"
"Could you get off? I need to reach the moon, the whole of the planet demands it."
"But you aren't paying attention to me."
Kurt sighed as he turned off his computer, apparently widening the knowledge of the world was not good enough for his friend and the other cheered at that. Kurt waited until the other got off, thankful for lack of pressure on his back, and sat up from his bed, "So what do you want to show me?"
"Come on follow me!" Kurt was dragged off from his dorm room to wherever Vechs' wanted him to go, looking far too gleeful then should be normal. He hoped that whatever this surprise was, would not involve fire on any sort of substance that could kill or horrifically maim someone. He wouldn't put it pass the other.
"Look, at what I got!" Vechs was like a child as they reached a park a little ways from the college, where a black blanket hung among the trees with a weird machine set on the ground.
"Um Vechs, please don't burn the trees down."
"No look," the other insisted as he went to turn it on, as a light came out, like a projector and Kurt watched as the lights and the blanket, formed a night sky of sorts, "We can rarely see the stars here, so I thought I'd bring them to you."
Kurt could feel the tug at the corner of his lips, as he pinpointed the various constellations in this false sky, realizing that the stars were actually moving as well, "Did you get Etho or them to help you with this?"
"Etho, Seth, and Z helped out, but I did most of the work," he insisted as they sat down staring up at the stars, "So you like it."
Kurt couldn't help the smile this time, "Yeah, thank you...you are a great friend."
"Of course I am~. I am the best!" they shared a chuckle as they returned to watching the moving constellations, comfortable in this silence.
