Fanfic - DireDwarf/Mhykol
Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 10:57 pmI remind you that Mhykol suggested this. Although I didn't use his line in the fic. I should write a smutty sequel, use that line ehhe.
Note. I know jack all about Mhykol's fanserver. It could be bright pink flowers, art deco, or post industrial punk rock (...these are all things, right? Shit)
I don't watch the videos, and that's bad. I'm very sorry. I should. I'm going to imagine someone at some point make a bar on the server. Because I need there to be one.
Mhykol stumbled into the bar, pulling himself away the throng of people that tried to follow him at times whenever he appeared on the server. He didn't mind spending time with fans, but they got so needy sometimes. Spying DireDwarf practically hiding in a booth towards the back of the building, he slunk over, sliding into the booth across from Dire.
Dire tilted his head slightly, eyes half lidded. “Oh hey Mhykol. Trying to hide from your legion of fans?” he said with a soft laugh. Mhykol ducked his head before shrugging. “They can be incredibly needy sometimes,” he said quietly. He wasn't truly unhappy or pissed off at the situation, more bemused by it.
“Yeah, we can be needy, can't we?” Dire said, still amused at Mhykol's discomfort at the whole situation. Mhykol rolled his eyes, raising a hand to get the waitresses attention. He quietly ordered a beer, which she delivered promptly.
Picking up the glass, Mhykol drained half of it in greedy gulps, apparently rather eager to get drunk. Dire watched him before ordering another drink. By the time Dire's drink arrived, Mhykol had finished his first drink, and was ordering a second.
“Are you ok?” Dire asked, slightly concerned. He hadn't seen Mhykol drink like this for a very long time. “Yeah, just...it's just been really stressful lately,” Mhykol said, not making eye contact with Dire.
Dire let out a slow breath, thinking of what to do. He didn't want Mhykol to slip back into drinking again, that would be terrible. He could try brainwashing him. He was told he was quite good at it, even more so when he used his low voice.
“Mhykol, please look at me,” Dire said, smiling softly as he took off his glasses, staring at his friend across the table. Mhykol put the glass down, frowning. “What?” he replied, perturbed.
“Please listen to me. I don't want you to do anything unfortunate. So please just listen to me. It's really much easier to listen to me, rather then try and drink away your issues. It's really easy to fall asleep to my voice, to be happy and safe. Everything will be...uh?” Dire said, slowly, almost quietly before falling silent as Mhykol fell asleep in the booth. Not my intent, whoops Dire though, pondering what to do next.
The bar was mostly empty at this point. It never got too busy though. Reaching across the table, Dire gave Mhykol a little shove. Mhykol snored loudly. Oh god. Well, I think there's rooms in the back, maybe I can get the bartender to help me drag him into one of the rooms.
With some finagling and promises that the bartender would not tell anyone how the servers saviour had to be dragged into a back room, the two of them got the still sleeping Mhykol situated into bed. The bartender left, leaving the keys with Dire.
Dire sighed as he thought about if he should go home, or stay with Mhykol. He really should go home, but leaving Mhykol to wake up alone with no idea how he got here seemed like a bit of a dick move. Dire rubbed his eyes, sighing. Curling up in the very nice plush chair the small room had, Dire felt himself falling asleep shortly. You owe me, Mhykol. Dire though, amused, as he fell asleep, snoring softly.
