(Prompt Basket) Babysitting and Brotherhood

 So... I have a thing, and I know you Salad-eaters love things.

 

Now... I'm kind of neck deep in the Severance Universe, and while I love the ideas I am bringing to the table to you guys to munch on, the following prompts just feel a little out of place in the world where "UHC:Foundation" takes place.

 

Can't have good salad go to waste, now, can we? *smile*

 

So I'm browsing through a few small internet art-galleries and I stumble upon a small little fan comic involving two established characters in a rather ... unusual situation.  The situation being that one of the characters had been hit with some temporal magic and was turned into a five-year-old with no memories beyond that age, leaving the unaffected character to 'babysit' the 'kiddified' character for a few hours while everyone waits for the temporal magic to run its course and set everything back to normal.

 

I loved the character interaction involved in that comic, and I wondered if something like this had been explored by the Salad Society before.  Likely it has, but hey, we have new cooks in the kitchen, and I'd like to see what they can whip up. :3

 

First, a few restrictions, just to test your mettle and add a little more challenge. (or make it easier for you folkses, but they're restrictions regardless.  My apologies if the restrictions are a turn off. :/)

1. This is big -- Please, keep it 'brotherly' and refrain from crossing the 'fluff' line and into 'slightly risque' (and beyond).  These fics are going to involve 'children' to a degree, after all... (I personally prefer BroTPs over OTPs, so try not to get too touchy-feely. [Keep yo hands to yo'selves, chil'ren!])

2. Also, try to avoid trauma -- painful, permanent, or otherwise (at least on the kiddified character).  Again, we're dealing with 'kiddified' characters here that have no idea that they were responsible and aware adults just before the scenario they've been shoveled into. This also includes the kiddification.  Nothing permanent, please, endearing as it is.

3. The kiddified characters have no memories of what their adult selves did before getting kiddified (recommended age: 5-7 years old) ... so they're all honesty and innocence (... and mischief. :3)

4. ... I got nothin'.  Beyond the above restrictions, go nuts.

 

And now the tasty prompt samples!

 

 OOG:  

1) "Uncle Guude" -- Guude is stuck taking care of a 'kiddified' BdoubleO (Li'l Johnny).  Is he going to be driven crazy by this 5-year-old version of his oldest friend, or is his paternal instinct going to win?

2) "Uncle Boo" -- Turning the tables... what kind of trouble is Li'l Jason gonna get 'Uncle Boo' into? *evil chuckle* (I can just imagine Guude poking fun at BdoubleO by addressing Johnny-boy as 'Uncle Boo' after turning back to normal.)

 

Team Canada:

1) Papa Beef -- 

a. It can just be Pause who gets kiddified and Etho wants no part in the babysitting.

b. Both Etho and Pause wind up kiddified. Chaos and hilarity ensue.

2) Uncle Pause -- Just Beef gets kiddified and Etho's nowhere to be seen.  Hehe.  Beef's adorable as a kid.  Wonder how Pause would react?

3) Uncle Etho -- Both Pause and Beef get kiddified ... Oh dear.

 

Single-Malt:

Self-explanitory.  It's either Kurt or Zisteau who get kiddified.  Take your pick, Salad-eaters.

 

Others:

... Or what if Baj was the only one unaffected by the sudden age regression magic and is more or less left to babysit the affected guys? (For funsies, let's also leave Avidya, Guude, and PSJ unaffected, too.  Daddy Daycare, anyone?)

 

... we can even venture into Saladcrack territory and see what happens when our Saladverse selves wind up taking care of our dear 'Crackers when they've been kiddified.  Or the other way around.  Tee hee.

Oh man, sounds hilarious! I might actually try this... I'm no good at shipping but this sort of stuff I might be able to do :) But which pairing to choose?!

Oh I really, really like this. I need to work on a more "brotherly" fic and I think you have just answered my prayers.

This seems really cool! I want to write it, but I've got my own things to do... Mrrr...

I'd totally do the 'Other' option. With Avidya, Guude, Baj, and PSJ. I think PSJ would handle it the best. I mean, he is a RL dad, with three kids. Three kids. That's a lot of experience handling kids.

Although Salad-crack is tempting... XD I really want to see something born from this. Really, really, really.

I've never posted anything here. But I think I'll give this a try. I've got a good idea in mind. :)
