Dunno if I'll get the next Mod Adventures post up today. My mind's a little preoccupied and I just feel like I'm in a weird enough mood to just not want to write one today. That feels like such a weird excuse, but it'll be up tomorrow for sure.

Speaking of one of the things preoccupying my mind, I'm apparently writing a fanfic now. Yeah, I was not expecting that. It's coming along nicely. Don't know if it'll be done today, but soon.

Also, I finally got around to watching yesterday's Orange Wool, and it was amazing, with several guest appearances from Imitation Bill Cosby and Not Imitation Avidya. Orange Wool continues to be the most incompetent gang ever, but to be fair, Woolopolis No Shoes Bronx Edition is a rough neighborhood.

As a New Yorker (though admittedly not from the Bronx), I didn't know whether to be amused or offended by Millbee's automatic Bronx = terrible place full of gangs concept. (There are other good things in the south Bronx, like Yankee Stadium. The northern part of that borough, which no one really acknowledges in fiction, is actually very rich and ritzy. I had a good friend from the south Bronx - who was in a not-great-but-not-terrible neighborhood - go to a private high school in the ritzy northern part.) I was also waiting for the inevitable West Side Story reference to drop and it never did, sigh.

HOORAY FANFICTION! :D Very excited to see how that'll turn out.

And take your time with the mod adventures - much rather see you happy than force content out, you know?

I thought you guys would have liked that. I'm kind of excited to show it. ^_^ I think I'm done with the first draft now. Now just gotta type, edit, and format it.

Yeah, I know. I just felt like I needed to acknowledge lapses in my consistency, in case anyone was waiting to find out what happens next.
