Isi's Mindcrack Mod Adventures, Part 15

The Pyraos are secure, and we've gained all we can from this land. It's time to take them home.

We're ready to go. I can no longer think of anything else I could do to waste time here. I don't know how the path ahead is going to be, but we have to travel it. I have spare wool for beds, and I have enough food-- the product of my compulsion to never go hungry again. Now I'm going to do something with it. I'm leaving some behind. In the event I find another pit of death to fall into, I'll have some food next to the bed I previously used.

No more excuses. We're finally moving on. Let's go home. You're going to love it there.

Every time I use a bed, I put down a chest next to it and leave behind some food. Here I'm leaving some chicken. Next stop I leave the mushrooms, then maybe some beef. If nothing else, I'll give myself enough time to find more food if I need to respawn. Not that animals are scarce anymore. There's always a flock of chickens trying to clutter up my parade of Pyrao. I'm less adamant about killing every one of them I can find, but only because I've got Pyrao to occupy my attention.
Actual progress is slow. Pine forests aren't the most annoying biome to move through, but the trees do tend to block the view ahead. The hills aren't very high, but they tend to rise and fall suddenly. Okay, there's a path through the trees up here, there's enough clearance for the Pyraos. You two are still following? Good, yes, yes, NO, no, that's a sheer drop, turn around, other way. Gotta find a different way though here... There's just something about porting these two around, after having searched for them for so long, that taking them on a long walk through the unaccommodating wilderness puts me just a little bit on edge.

Ugh, jungles. My nemesis... well, after gaping boreholes to the bottom of the earth. They're my nemesis when I'm trying to lead people around, in any case. Foolishly I think that I could just plow through it and get it out of the way, maybe I just wanted a change from the pine forest, but this proves to be an effort in futility. Fall damage is taken. Blood pressures run high. I can't risk this. I have to turn around and pick my way back our of this mess. I'll go around, no matter how long that takes.

Cold it be? Finally there's a break in the jungle? I can finally stop moving backwards and go in the direction I want?

Oh, some water. Even better. Smell you later, jungle! Unfortunately the water way doesn't take me very far, and instead there's patchy land and ice everywhere.

I come across a torch I didn't place... I've been here before. I must be close.

I can see it! My mosh pit! Finally. Home, I've missed you so much.

We made it! Thank goodness. Everyone's safe. Finally. But now comes the uncomfortable truth that, if it wasn't for that dead Anderz, we'd be done searching right now. After some brief housekeeping, it's time to set out again, to go on a spiritual journey.
Next time: The search for Anderz.

YAY for almost done. Just need the final Anders. Well, I have faith you'll find him!
