Fic: Mr. Cheaty

So just going to leave this here. This little scene just wouldn't leave me alone. Sorry for any mistakes that you will probably find.

Cheaty Nebris. That is who he is. Cheaty, glowstone obsessive Nebris. That's the role he has pulled himself into.

Alone in his still uncompleted citadel, he walks around placing blocks, tearing down walls, and creating new rooms. Everyone is fast asleep or well at least that's what he thinks. Done for the day with their projects as he continues on with his. Cheaty a title he had made for himself, and he thinks about it late at night placing blocks one after another.

Who will miss the cheater, a darker part of his mind whispers to him. Who will miss the glowstone stealer. No one that's who. Just_defy was gone. Pakratt, MC? Yeah sure cobblehaterz, but beyond that where are they? Pakratt is off pondering things on his own, MC is playing with Millbee, they're not here with you. Who will miss you, already there are good builders, good redstoners, good whatever. All you are is Cheaty.

Nebris pauses as he shuffles through his inventory as he tries to shake away those thoughts. Unconsciously he pulls back the glowstone he was about to put away, cradling the light source in his arms, purple eyes distant in thought.
He wonders why he hoards this nether item. Its pretty of course and a great light source, a pure light. Maybe that's why, a silly wish that if he gathered enough, their glow could rub off on him, erase the title he held, erase the darkness he himself made. But in the end, it does not work, it does not hold and he finds himself trapped by his own actions.

Who will miss him, if he just walks off? Who will care to find him, if he runs? Honestly he is afraid of what the answer would be.

In silence he goes back to work, he wants to finish what he can tonight.
