Also, I may or may not have made a huge personal decision that could affect my entire life forever! You did, and it's awesome, and your family and partner supports you, so shut up and rock at what you're about to do! ...sometimes you rock, SYT.

Well, I guess I might as well spill the beans since it's semi-public knowledge who I am, and I actually posted about it on a relevant Reddit earlier tonight.

I have a Master's in something math-related but have had trouble finding permanent full time employment doing that mathy thing. I've decided to finally get off my ass and start preparing to become an actuary; I registered for the first certification test (in January) and am hunting for srs bsns online prep programs for said test.

It's a little scary - I haven't done serious math in nearly a year, and while I do consider myself a bit of a statistician, the things actuaries do is crazy cakes; besides, I don't actually know that much about the insurance/risk management side of it yet. But it's also awesome, and my family and my partner are behind me all the way as I tear my hair out these next few months to prepare, so that's pretty excellent.

But seriously, that's awesome. I can see why it's scary, but it sounds like a great step forward for you, congrats! And good luck!

Yay, I've been waiting for this. <3 So much that I got a little bit of a head start.

Action packed episodes today! Some fun moments with everyone teasing Baj about the braces thing, Guude getting lost and panicking, then everyone arguing about Baj's insistence on using pressure plates. And, of course, Pause going solo trying to be the hero and almost getting himself killed. Then, when he tries to get out of the fortress, every corner he turns has more blazes and a swarm of ghasts trying to kill him until he makes it to the portal. One of my favorite moments of the season. Then his next episode is all just sitting around doing a lot of nothing while everyone else tries in vain to find netherwart.

I love this season. And congratulations on positive life decisions!

I had no idea that anyone had ever even made an enchanting table let alone got this far along in making potions. I thought S3 where Pause and Etho found the fortress was the only time a fortress had even been FOUND. So I'm pretty shocked and really enjoying all of this unexpected stuff. And man, FOUR of them are having trouble making potions/finding everything. It'll be truly amazing the day someone actually succeeds in making potions. (I think it'd be impressive even if it's a TEAM.)

Poor stupid heroic Pause, hahahaha. And, oh, Guude in the last seconds of the 6th episode!
