Was pretty bored.
So I discovered a...pass friendship of our local Farlander, and it made me sad to think that Kurt and this person don't interact at all anymore. I was completely shocked when I came across this from a random comment in the subreddit because it felt like >insert two LP'ers that don't interact< and I was completely surprised. I don't even like this person (it'll stay mysterious until the end) that much but it felt like it could've been interesting. ;_;
First legit post, sorry for any screw ups. Also I haven't recreationally wrote anything in 4 years.
---------------------------------------------
An early September morning leaves Kurt confused. He had brought his cup of coffee into his office as usual, checking the status of his YouTube channel. A quick double-take reveals that his channel had received a substantial boost of subscribers. Curious, Kurt looks at his latest video- a Farlands or Bust video. He didn't think that anything especially interesting happened enough to become viral, unless Wolfie damaging him counts. A smile works its way to Kurt's face as he realizes that he must've received a shoutout! (a rather large- that much was obvious by the view counts). A quick glace at his comments reveals that a notable Minecraft Lp'er had persuade some viewers to crawl over to Kurt's smaller channel, one who he was a fan of. Kurt was surprised- surprised that such a large channel noticed his petite one!
With gratitude, Kurt sends a thank you tweet to the man kind enough to promote his channel. Surprisingly enough, the Lp'er replied back to Kurt in a jiffy. After a few more exchanges in twitter about anything- Minecraft, computers, the weather- they finally exchanged Skype contacts. The official start of their relationship of friends, as opposed to just casual colleagues.
They were a very surprising duo when they skyped together. Unlike Kurt, the man was quite talkative, about his personal life and in general. A veteran YouTuber of minecraft LPs, he also spoke with confidence. Although contrasting completely with Kurt, Kurt didn't mind- he rather enjoyed the man's long tangents, giving verbal queues to continue along the way. In addition, during the guy's multitude of babbles, he was able to teach Kurt on how to improve the technical quality of streaming and uploading videos. He suggested great programs to created an overall better quality of his productions. All in all, he was a positive addition to Kurt's channel.
He participated in a plethora of Kurt's livestreams- including Kurt's Beta 1.8 livestreams and the first flobathon. The big Lp'er supported flobathon and Kurt the entire way, giving good advice while pulling hilarious jokes. Kurt was definitely considering the guy to be a great friend.
However, soon after, the Lp'ers channel just kept on growing- thousands of subs a day! Kurt was happy- a knowledgeable and interesting guy like him deserves to be big, after all! Unfortunately, the two interacted less, and less- until the point they many months had passed without mention of each other. The now large Lp'er had removed Kurt's channel in his suggestions- not that Kurt was downtrodden about it. After all, he considered it a god-send enough for the man to give him a sub boost, especially after quitting his day job as well! Kurt didn't really bother the man about Skyping with him- he was too quiet and concerned about bothering him.
In addition, Kurt was also becoming busy. Joining the Mindcrack server officially in January of the next year made him busy. He gained another large sub boost, and had started to creating more videos regularly, which hindered his time to livestream. A consequence, since the big Lp'er tended to jump into his livestreams with little forewarning, consisting most of their interaction.
It wasn't until a couple of months later that Kurt realized that they probably were no longer going to Skype. The rift had grown so large due to many events happening that Kurt had felt that it'd be talking to a stranger- a skill he wasn't so good out.
These days, Kurt thinks about him every once in a while though. It made him feel slightly guilty that he wasn't yearning for his company that much- he had many other friends to fill that gap. To this day he still feels that his former friend was much too large to pay attention to him. His collaborations with other mindcrackers, the KGB's, 2girls1minecraft and much more had made him happy enough to not feel sad about his and Antvenom's fizzle out.

Did I just write a sad story about Kurt and that person? Yes, yes I did. Also I can't confirm how big or small either channel was, or whatever tweeting they did. I've proved that I can't write too well and I'm going to sleep right now since it's 3 AM.
I think I made a ...crack brOTP in the Mindcrack fandom. I'll take my leave now~
Once again, sorry for any screw ups.

Date: Friday, June 28th, 2013 10:07 am (UTC)I too known how it feels to be so out of touch with writing. My attempts at starting to write a Mindcrack fan fiction have truly shown just how out of practice I am.
Anyways, have a smiley. :-)
