Isi's Mindcrack Mod Adventures, Part 10

Damn Swede.

It's been a little while. I've been across this map half a dozen times, not counting the bottom corners, and I'm finally ready to get out of here. I've wandered the taiga where I found Anderz so many times in the hope there's another one waiting to be discovered, but I found nothing save maybe a spare Pause or two. Not to sound callous, but why couldn't Pause be the one to suffocate in a wall? He's at least replaceable now. I've even been caving since last time, so I finally have a spare compass again, which will be crucial to getting these guys home. And I think I'm finally ready to go that distance to lead them back.

First I take a dry run, just to get a feel for the route back. It's mostly ocean if I follow the compass. This is fine with me. It'll be annoying swimming the whole way, but it's free of obstacles.

It takes over a whole day of swimming, and I still haven't found the land. I really should have taken a boat.

All right, gentlemen, we're going for a swim. It's finally time to say goodbye to this place and leave Anderz's poor soul in peace.

Of course the Guudes are still with me, and while skirting the jungle's edge we've also picked up a spare Beef.

I have a total of eight guys following me, three of whom shouldn't be here. Oh well. There's not much opportunity here to lose them.

Of course it's nighttime by the time we come in sight of the land, so I quickly plonk a bed on an offshore spit of land, but it's not enough to gain access to where I need to go. The skeleton brigade knew we were coming and swarmed our entry point. We'll have to take a detour.

At long last, after our longest journey yet, we've returned the new guys to the mosh pit. And only one of the spare Guudes made it all the way back, so we have three of him in here.

The other two spares I lost back here. They don't get to join the party this time, but at least they have each other.
There was still those two blank corners of my map to be filled out, so I go investigate...

Ohmygod, Anderz. I'm so happy to see you. The last time I found one of you... you know, you don't need to hear about that. But I'm going to keep you safe this time, okay?

I lead him to a safe open place until I'm ready to take him back. We picked up another Pause along the way, but that's okay. I note the spot on the map, but first I want to see what's in that other corner.

...Kay. I'm here. And for quite a while, there wasn't anything to see, just massive amounts of cows. But I can tell there's a lot more to this place, so I venture off the map.

Finally we find a more populated area. And Doc's here. We need one more of him.

There's several more of him, actually. Docs are all over the place. But I realize I'm not properly equipped to continue this adventure just yet. I don't have the materials to make a new map, and I can't find any sheep to make more beds. I had to spend the night in a hole watching beef cook because I couldn't find wool. Plus, my inventory's kind of cramped because I took a pit stop back at the "Mini Playoncon" village to pick up some stuff I left there. I'm going to come back soon, but I need to go home first.
