Season 2.5 of Group Rewatch - which will be Season 2 of Nancy Drew UHC - will go up Monday. Start thinking about what you guys want to watch next!

Ep 3.: holy crap, Baj dies 30 seconds into ep. 3! And Beef somehow lives! I mean, I know he does because of the UHC hall of fame Pause is building, but I never expected it to be THAT close. Wow!

Hahaha Baj's ghost is brilliant.

Baj: Did you feel me going through you?
Beef: Your crotch ... went through my face.

Ghost Baj flying around the ravine is legitimately freaky. Ghosts would make an awesome new mob.

Ghost Baj has me dying with laughter over here. Particularly when he keeps scaring the other guys. XD

It is interesting that he jumped in to save Beef and ended up dying. Poor Baj. So begins a long tradition...

It is extremely funny to see him flying around though. That's something you definitely don't see in UHC now!

Ah, Baj's famed season 1 heroics, diving in after Beef like that, even though he was kind of the cause, mining that block. And later in Beef's perspective, he almost does the same thing to Pause.

I love the newness of the mod in this and the next season when they still have no idea what they're doing. They're so tense over the smallest things, even running ten blocks to get water.

If Beef wasn't at one heart I doubt he would've been AS scared to go get water, but at that point a single skeleton would kill him, so I totally get it. Awesome that he DOES IT ANYWAY though, ha. I don't know how they do it. I break out into a sweat any time I'm caving for more than like 30 mins when I'm just playing on normal!

Ep. 4: Damn, Beef has one heart and is leading the party. I'm really impressed with how fearless he's being. And Pause is, for the most, cowering the the background. It's really interesting to see how their dynamics change over time. THIS Pause could never fathom running around through the night during a UHC. Also, Guude is the team archer. :D

Pause randomly goes Forrest Gump around 7 mins in and says "I love you Jenny." Little did he know there'd actually be a Genny on the server later...

Ep. 5: Man oh man. I honestly have no idea how this ends, but given the fact that the goal is to kill the Enderdragon and they've JUST entered the Nether, I'm guessing Beef isn't the one that makes the final kill but is instead simply the last-man standing, and they all get slaughtered in this episode.... here we go!

Guude kills a ghast. Beef says MAN YOU'RE GANGSTA. Pause says, "Guude, if I were legal age. And a girl. I'd give my virginity to you." OH MY.

And then Guude dies, and somehow it's Pause and Beef, who had way less health. And no bows. Oh, his stuff survived, yay! Now if only Beef would give Pause the bow, or Pause would give Beef the arrows...

Baj is the tiniest Ghast. :D

Beef is scared, but he's so TAKE CHARGE now, commanding Pause around. Kind of hot. You don't often get Beef like this these days. The pigman farm works pretty good, except for the terrible drop rates and the fact that they only drop nuggets.

Pause gets his and down to half a heart. Comedy gold.

Beef: Why am I following Pause?
Pause: You don't need to!
Beef: I'm not going to abandon my team mate. We're in this together, man. <3

Awwww, and it's over so soon. Them talking about whether or not they even want to do a second season is so interesting! I am eager to watch it. Just amazing how truly HARDCORE they get about it by season eight, once they really start to understand the mod. So glad they never made any changes to it.

Ghost. Baj.

I've seen Season 2 before but this is so totally new to me too. I feel like the interactions between Team Nancy Drew these days (say, MineZ) are less...something. I can't quite put my finger on it. Less silly? Then again, there's probably something about the newness of the mod that made them all so simultaneously anxious and awesome. I wish they would do something like this again, collaborative Ultra Hardcore, or maybe a race to the Ender Dragon with multiple teams of four? That would be cool. Just. More group commentary during UHC please.

I agree about this missing something. Some of it is newness, I think, and some of it is that they're not as jaded here as they are now. I'm not sure that's the right word, but here they're so excited about everything. There's no "Damn Reddit" or quite the kind of complaints we get now. There's no fear that Pause is going to get 500 dislikes for killing Baj or something. The game is still new to them, so there's no burn out, either.

Also, MineZ in particular is a weird game. Not only is it frustrating and painfully slow at times, but it's full of derp "fans" who are often screwing things up for the guys, so that's a big difference. And they're pretty much 100% together in this series whereas in MineZ they're constantly being separated.
