Chapter 6
MC opened his eyes, only to be greeted to the too familiar face of Etho staring down at him.
I am going to die of a heart attack. Not death by sword, or fire, or anything awesome, but by a god”DAMNED HEART ATTACK. Hi Etho.” MC shouted, causing Etho to back up.
Looking amused, Etho pointed at a new addition to the room. “Brought in a table and another chair while you were sleeping so you can eat somewhere better then on the bed. You slept through it. And yet you wake up the second I'm going to wake you up.”
MC stretched, making his way to the table before staring down at what he assumed was breakfast. Well, it was breakfast food, but he didn't think that mattered to whatever time it might actually be. “What day is it?” MC asked as started to eat the waffles. “Eh, a day.” Etho said, shrugging. “Oh come on, can't you answer any of my questions straightforward?” MC said, frowning at Etho. “Yes.” Etho said, leaning back in his chair. “Oh that's...jerk.” MC said, mumbling as he finished eat breakfast.
“I want to take a shower.” MC stated as he looked down at the empty tray of food. MC looked over at Etho, who was watching him, head tilted. “If I say no, you're going to whine, aren't you?” “Yes. Yes I will.” MC said, frowning at Etho. Rolling his eyes, Etho acquiesced.
“How good are you at walking blindfolded? I didn't build you a shower.” Etho said as he stood up. “You'll have to use mine.”
Standing up, MC shrugged. “As long as you lead me, I should be fine. You'll just have to make sure not to let go. I might run away or something.” MC said, grinning at Etho. Etho rolled his eyes again, before rummaging through his pockets and finding some spare fabric. He grabbed hold of MC, wrapping the fabric securely around MC's eyes. “Test.” Etho said.
MC saw darkness. “I'm going to guess you flipped me off or something.” “Heh, not quite. Good.” Etho said. MC felt Etho place one hand on his shoulder, the other on his arm. “Forward march.” Etho said, sounding amused. The click of the door alerted him that they had left the room.
Do I attempt to run now and piss him off that way, or wait? Hm. All the attempts! MC jerked away from Etho's grasp, running forward grabbing at the blindfold, pulling it off. Careening around corners, he quickly realized he was in a maze made from obsidian. Hoooow
Suddenly he was on the ground, pushed from behind. Rolling onto his back, MC looked up Etho. Etho placed a foot on MC's chest, keeping him from moving around more. Very calmly, far too calmly, Etho said “Was this the only reason why you wanted a shower, was to escape? I'm highly disappointed, MC. I thought you would have known better. Get up. Going back to room now.”
“Nononono. I still want a shower! I just...I can't make this easy on you man. What, did you think kidnapping someone was just going to be, I don't know, sunshine and daisies? Of course I'm going to try and escape at every opportunity! I have to at least try and have some fun with this situation.” MC said, continuing to lie on the ground. Etho stared down at him passively. “Get up.” “Not unless I still get to take a shower.” “No. Get up.”
MC stared up at the ceiling, ignoring Etho. He moved to put his hands behind his head. As he did, Etho leaned down, grabbing his arms, trying to drag him upwards. “Up. Now.” MC continued to act as dead weight, forcing Etho to drop his arms. “MC. Get up.” “Shower.”
“You don't think I'm going to kill you. Which is likely true. You do realize I can just beat the hell out of you, right? I've been treating you very well. Get up.” Etho said, one hand extended towards MC.
MC tried to shrug, before realizing it looked odd to shrug while lying down. “You can beat me up, I still want a shower.”
Etho sighed, his hand still extended. “You would not like getting beat up then trying to take a shower. If you don't try to escape until dinner, you can take a shower then. Last time. Up.” MC pushed himself upright till he was sitting. “If I have to wait that long, I want a bath.”
Etho closed his eyes before nodding briefly, sighing. “Fine. Get up.” MC took Etho's hand, pulling himself up until he was standing. Etho quickly re-blindfolded MC, practically dragging him back towards the room. I think the room was this way at least.
Etho pushed MC into the room once the doors opened, turning away as though to leave once MC was in the room with the blindfold off.
“Wait! Do you have any board games? We could play board games! I promise to not try and escape while we play board games!” MC said as Etho opened the door. Etho placed a hand against the door, as though steeling himself. “Any board games in particular?” Etho asked with a sigh.
“Fun ones?” MC said. Super long ones with lots of pieces I can hide and annoy you with?
“I'll find something if I'm not busy. Go read for now. Just, please go read for now.” Etho said with a sigh as he closed the door.
Lying down on the bed, bored, MC read one of the random books of short stories Etho had left before. When he was about a chapter into the book, the door swung open. Etho had returned with three different board games. Trivial Pursuit that looked to be about thirty years old, Monopoly, and Settlers of Catan.
“I don't think any of those games can be played with two just people.” MC said, looking at the three games. “Monopoly can.” Etho said, looking over the box requirements.
“Ok.”
The next three hours went by almost peacefully, despite MC's best attempts at stealing cash from the bank, to moving pieces around on the board. Etho seemed to find it more amusing then annoying. Must annoy Etho more. I'll wait till later, I guess.
Despite Etho's best efforts, MC managed to win.
“I won! Now, now! Tell me who was taking care of me.” MC said as he took the last of Etho's money.
“You are incredibly interested in that still. Can't you just let it go?” Etho said quietly.
“Well, they're the reason I'm trapped here, so no. No I won't let it go.” MC said, frowning at Etho.
Etho pondered MC briefly before shrugging. “Fine, fine. Nebris. Are you happy now?”
MC gaped at Etho. “But it Nebris? You like Nebris? What are you going to do, try and collect all Team America members? Oh ho, that's just. That's awesome.”
Etho rolled his eyes at MC, but the faintest hint of red could be seen peaking from underneath the mask. “Yes yes how funny. I'm going to go get lunch.”
Hehee he likes Nebris. Wait, Nebris liked me? Likes? Thinks I'm dead and mourning for me? Time for a plan, then. I guess escape plan. Since I know who it was now.
MC pulled out the little pencil he had absconded with from the Monopoly game, and started to write in the margins of one of the more boring books.

Also, wouldn't that be bad for females anyway? You wouldn't want that stuff getting into places. Could get a yeast infection from it?
