Thursday, May 9th, 2013 06:49 pmFirst, if you haven't been watching Beef's horse saga in vanilla, where have you been? Second, Guude is up to shenanigans as he ventures to Beef's new area and steals his horses, building a little shack across from the Saloon. Beef ain't even mad, and even invites him to stick around so they can "do westerny stuff" together. I love this new development, not least of all because it leaves room for spontaneous co-op episodes, plus I am perfectly happy to jump back on the VintageGuude ship.

Date: Friday, May 10th, 2013 12:16 am (UTC)But seeing these interactions makes me remember what I liked so much about vanilla--just people on, interacting, playing on a server. I remember when Millbee joined and Pause gave him his tour, they visited a bunch of builds and people were online at the time of the tour in their bases and it was just neat to be somewhere and see them there living, working, etc. I really miss that aspect. I wonder how much of that interaction is what drives people to FTB vs. vanilla. I think FTB is new and interesting, but I also think a lot of people watch Mindcrack for the interactions, and the interactions are largely happening on FTB now.

Date: Friday, May 10th, 2013 12:20 am (UTC)The interaction is one of the things I love, I love random pairing and co ops I just find it so funny and interesting to see the two people like Millbee and Baj I never would have thought of them as a great co op but they are fantastic xD especialy the random "gifts" and mini pranks they will do to each other like BTC with the worms to troll Guude abit :3
*sigh* I miss vanilla, why I enjoy Beef so much as he has kept it up and still enjoys it more than FTB.
